How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Air con wasn't working, breakfast was ok, but could have been better- I wouldn't recommend the sausages, very processed!
The room was nice and spacious. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. The pool, steam room and Sauna were a real treat!

Very steep driveway to walk up from the road to the hotel.
Good location for the town centre, free parking on site was great, and there are 5 charging points for electric cars, but you'll need your own lead.

I was very saddened to see the fish tank in reception. It needs major improvement. Firstly it is too small for those two fish. There is zero enrichment and it is just an existence. You need a bigger tank. It needs a backdrop/colourful scene. They need something to do/explore. Try a few plants, driftwood, a few ornaments/ caves, different textures, rocks, etc. Seriously, I was so sad to see the fish in a tiny tank with nothing else in it!! Please sort this out asap!

Dishwasher was leaking l; supposedly fixed it but still leaked. Washed up in sink for whole stay. Cleaning staff only average as was management

Toilet was not clean and inspite of complaining they weren't able to do the job well. I would trade in other facilities for want of clean Toilet and clean bedsheets.
Large rooms good for family . Location is little far from centre of the town but close to grocery store and other amenities Like gas station etc.

The building was far too striking and distracting from an excellent weekend - my travelling companion was distressed about the complete absence of gargoyles on the uppermost reaches of the west wing of the building
Striking recreation of renaissance architecture succeeds in making it one of the foremost examples of post modernist building in the area

Housekeeping consisted only of clean towels. No bed making or cleaning of the room. A little pricey for an average budget hotel.
Nice little swimming pool. Spacious, clean room. Nice pancakes for breakfast!

No kettle or drinks facilities in room, was a deal breaker for me and most British people! I was really desperate for a cup of tea, but not even a bottle of water. Always take tea bags, just needed a kettle and cup! Worse still the shops had all shut and so had reception by 8p.m. so had to drink tap water! It didn't say it wasn't safe and I'm still alive! Also the shower door leaked and created a flood on the floor. But overall good!
Nice building.Location was very good, 10 mins from Honfleur walking. Parking was good.Pool.etc lovely but sadly didn't have time to use them. Good shower! Breakfast looked good! I would return but would either take kettle or upgrade room!

No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Breakfast option very expensive at 14 euros each.
Nice room. Swimming pool,sauna and steam room very good too. Walkable distance into Honfleur.

Liked the self contained apartment within the hotel. Good location for touring Normandy coast. Safe and free parking. Enjoyable breakfast.

No comfortable chairs which I would have expected in a studio apartment. The route to the harbour was along a busy road
