Perfect from start to finish. Matthieu and Denis are welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed dinner with them and our fellow guests the first night, and the food was spectacular! The property is equally amazing. The rooms are well-decorated and comfortable, and the facilities are immaculate, from the parking area to the pool. We could have stayed there and not gone anywhere else! La Casa Color is situated perfectly to enjoy Cahors and its wine culture, as well as Pêché Merle caves, and is the perfect place to come back to after a day of exploring. We highly recommend La Casa Color and hope to visit again! We visited with our 20 year old daughter, and she especially loved the pool area, the sweet dogs and cat, and Denis making her a delicious cocoa each morning. Thank you!!!

Everything. This was our 2nd stay here en route to Spain. Matthieu and Denis again made us feel very welcome. We were even given the same room. Lovely to have the pool to cool off in too. Breakfast was great with lots of homemade items. We left a bag behind and Denis called us up really quickly so we were able to retrieve it. See you next year guys!

If you've ever watched a romantic French film featuring an idyllic location then it could have been filmed at La Casa Color, we loved it, the surroundings, the gardens, the pool, the room, the decor, the breakfast area, the hosts, the secure parking for our motorcycle. It was heavenly.

A unique place to stay with a couple of charming Boston Terriers belonging to the owners. There is a boulangerie opposite the property with very good sweet products and decent savoury ones to stock up on.

Access on arrival was not so easy. We understand the need for secure parking but trying to find the way in meant phoning an international number after a long journey. Much easier just to ring a bell, please. The drinks tray in the room only had two sachets of coffee so not enough for eve and morning, and had no milk, and we couldn't find anyone around to ask for some. Also we would prefer proper crockery and spoons rather than paper cups and a wooden stirrer

Our six night stop, relaxing, wonderful garden, so peaceful. Matthieu et Denis , wonderful hosts, provided excellent breakfast, also on some evenings a great opportunity to taste local produce, cooked by Denis. Great parking for our classic car, easy access to your room

The internet was not fast and stable. The issue got worse as it is situated outside the city, the 4G network also was very week and bad.

It is located in a very silent area. I liked it very much. If you have car, it is only 10 min from the city center.

This chambre d’hote is a perfect piece of paradise just a few miles outside of Cahors in the beautiful Lot countryside. The accommodation is exquisite and set around a lovely swimming pool in pretty gardens. So restful

Matthieu and Denis are fabulous hosts and their guest house is charming, with beautiful gardens and the addition of heated pool makes it even better! Located about 8km from Cahors it’s a lovely quiet place to stay. We sat on the terrace in the evening and had a delicious platter of local produce for our supper and drank a great bottle of wine produced by the vineyard just behind the property. We would love to come back and stay again.

Would have preferred a double bed rather than twin beds

A very friendly welcome from Denis and Mathieu and their 2 Boston terriers. A lovely garden with lots of unusual features and a lovely big pool. It had a locked gate with plenty of parking spaces so we felt our car and e-bikes were safe. There was a telephone number to ring when we arrived but I just found Denis in his hairdressers next door. There were 5 guest rooms around the pool with a maximum of 12 guests. Plenty of sun loungers, chairs plus a ping pong table and petanque. Breakfast was served outside or if bad weather inside a lovely vaulted cellar. There's a bar and restaurant within walking distance but it's closed on Saturday and Sunday so La Casa Color provided plates of charcuterie including lots of pate, some cheese and smoked duck with salad. Convenient for visiting Cahors and the picturesque village of St Cirq Lapopie. There was a lovely bike ride from Bouzies to St Cirq via the towpath cut into the cliffs and back on the mountain top road.

What a GEM 💎 From arrival to departure, the hosts were helpful and gracious. The room was as described and shown but more charming. There are two shops nearby to buy wonderful products and breakfast was wonderful. It's totally recommended.

Missing some light in the room.

The hosts are very kind, helpful, the place is well arranged, clean, located not far from the town of Cahors, the breakfast is excellent, the room is big.
