Our bedroom showed some signs of wear and tear that could be easily addressed - things like cracked lampshades and a broken picture frame. That said, the room was clean and comfortable, and for the price, it offers good value. An air conditioner would make a big difference during the summer heat, especially during a heatwave.

The hosts were warm and welcoming, and it’s clear this is a family-run property with a personal touch. They speak excellent English and made us feel right at home. The accommodation is set in a beautiful old building with magnificent views over the Grasse countryside. The breakfast was delicious, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced - a lovely way to start the day.

It was difficult to get to and from Grasse without a car. The local buses are few and far between and Uber drivers very slow to arrive.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is atmospheric and the terrace is lovely.

No air conditioning in that part of the world is difficult. Restaurant closed on Friday night wasn’t good for us.

It’s a very beautiful house from the 16th century. We loved the family who owns it and helped us with everything, incl. parking. People are very friendly here and it’s a special place near Grasse. It’s dogs friendly, has a gorgeous terrace and very nice room with chimney and piano. The view was stunning. And we loved to wake up to the smell of freshly backed croissants for the breakfast. We had a very nice experience staying at La Bellaudiere.

Paper cups in the rooms for tea and coffee, older mansion converted to inn, rather close to the road. Needs to take it up a notch, but was very reasonably priced. Many single women travelers. Chef was not working, so no Friday night. Other restaurants were about 10 minutes away, and down narrow , winding roads.

Breakfast was wonderful . Owners were very helpful and kind.

I have never stayed in a 2 star hotel before so I have no idea what the criteria for 2 stars so I will not make any further observations. My wife did say we have stayed in a 4 star hotel that was not as good,

The property could do with a refresh, and location is not practical and value for money is not very good.

Considering the price, I expected a bit more. Whilst the room was clean, the room and the property are in need of a refresh. The views are nice, but the location is not convenient, with no practical means to get anywhere without a car. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the highlight of the stay.

Breakfast wasn't worth it at all. € 12 is way too much for what was offered, just a bit of bread, yogurt, and some jam. You pay extra for eggs or cheese.

Super steep small driveway off the main road, though highway noise didn't bother us. Driving through the area around Grasse is getting pretty crowded.

The feel of the typical small old French hotel in the South of France, but modernized and kept up enough to make it comfortable. Loved the old antique furniture, writing desk, windows on two sides opening out to a great view toward the Mediterranean in the distance. Also a pleasant garden space below. The restaurant dinner was great, moderate but up-to-date cuisine, and good local house wine. Perfect for one-night on our road trip. And they let us check in early and held our bags while we drove around for the day.
