How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing: not enough staff to handle the guests and ensure there were enough plates, utensils and napkins available. Had a long wait until dishes were washed so that we could serve ourselves some food,luckily we were not in a hurry to leave.

The restaurant had very limited options and half of the menu was not available. This is worth mentioned, because the hotel send several messages to say we can have room service, but only pizza was available.
We liked the location for our purpose (to continue the trip to Calais), the rooms and the facilities. There is parking and car chargers which is a great bonus. The rooms have adequate space. The staff are professional.

The family room was well designed and reasonably spacious, with a curtained shower and sink area and a separate toilet with a door. We stopped off here for one night during a long car journey and it was conveniently located, close to the main road. The check in was easy and staff were friendly.

Nothing at all. However, if you're looking for proper restaurants, you need to drive into Reims. Within walking distance there are only a couple of fast food outlets.
This was a stopover on our way to Italy and was ideal - close to the motorway and easy to find. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. There's a small bar area that sells pizza. The area was quiet during the night. There are a few local shops next door which were handy for buying drinks and snacks for our onward journey.

These are not faults of the property, but my own. I did not check the location, which turned out to be rather remote. Good for a stop-over, but perhaps a bit too far if you want to explore the city. Traveling by motorbike, I was almost turned away, as the property does not allow motorbikes due to theft-concerns. Also something that I could have read up on before, but I never figured this could be an issue. However, the staff on duty was very kind to still accommodate my bike, which I am very grateful for!
Good enough. Nothing tremendously great or bad about it. A simple hotel room which, due to its remote location, is quiet enough - depending on who the room neighbors are.

Nothing. Its a bit souless but it serves its purpose well.
Perfect for final stop before heading to Calais for Le Shuttle. Clean, comfortable and all basic needs met. Small bar and pizza delivery available, but its right next to supermarket and fast food outlets. Very close to the motorway which suited me perfectly. 2 x EV chargers on site very helpful. Free parking

Only food available on an evening was a small pizza menu, all local eating spots closed (Sunday evening)
Location was fantastic for a stop over on way to Calais from St Tropez. Secure parking included, important when traveling with roof box etc…

When we arrived (at about 8pm!) we were told no motorbikes due to previous thefts, but this wasn’t stated on Booking.com. However, the staff were amazing and allowed us to park inside the hotel.
