The hosts were lovely!!! Could not recommend more. I even had dinner there one night and she cooked me the most incredible vegan meal and even gave me seconds when I was extra hungry after a long day walking. And then to my surprise she even brought me out a dessert, which was also very tasty. In addition to everything, she noticed I didn’t have the best footwear so even kindly lended me a pair of her own personal shoes for the day I was there. Will definitely stay here again when I come back one day.

The location was stunning and our room had a small balcony with a view toward Cirque de Gavarnie. The room was clean and bright and the bed comfortable. The host Katrina and her staff were all friendly and very helpful. Some English was spoken. Katrina offered advice on the area and routes to see the Gavarnie Falls and advised on other places to visit in the area. Katrina also provided a lovely traditional evening meal for guests.

There was nothing that we did not like about the hotel. Host gave clear instructions where we can park overnight with no charge.

Breakfast was great setting you up for the climbs and walks that lay ahead. The hosts were fantastic. They welcomed us in a very friendly fashion. They made dinner for us every evening. They were all delicious. The location was ideal for exploring the Cirque and observing life in beautiful Garvarnie.

Breakfast was so-so. Dinner was offered, but was a little expensive so we passed.

Room was clean and quiet, and bathroom was modern and spacious. I also liked the way that the owner was kind to us when we arrived, and we were completely soaking wet after hiking in the rain for hours.

Catherine gave us a warm welcome, lots of recommendations for day hikes, and some lovely home cooked meals in the evenings. The location was perfect for the Cirque walk, and the room was compact, clean and comfy - perfect for rest at the end of a long day of hiking.

The sole staff member (man) that we interacted with was unfriendly at every interaction.

Husband told us a very abrupt manner that we had to take off our shoes on entry to the hotel, even if we had no other footwear eg slippers. Very strange as the floor covering was only worn vinyl.
