For us there was nothing not to like

We have just returned from a brilliant weekend away in Honfleur. Our accommodation was only minutes away by car from the centre. The house and accommodation was lovely, we had a large bedroom with ensuite on the ground floor with our own small terrace with table and chairs. We had use of the swimming pool in the large garden with wonderful views. Our hosts were delightful, on arrival we were offered drinks and was given information on the area and local places to visit. Every morning we was served a delicious breakfast including a different home made cake each day. We were made to feel at home in this beautiful house. Tea and coffee were available for us to help ourselves but we could have had a kettle in our room if requested. Thank you Sandra and Guillaume for making our stay so comfortable.

It’s beautiful & serene, a little oasis away from the crowds. The owners are friendly and have time for their guests, answering any & all questions. They take pride in their home & hospitality, there’s a lot of thought gone into everything. Everything was modern & comfortable and worked well. The pool is the icing on the cake if you’re lucky enough to have the weather to use it. Also it’s located just on the fringe of Honfleur which is a lovely place to visit.

Breakfast wonderful. Homemade cake. Dietary requirements catered for. Freshly scrambled eggs on demand. Homemade jams, fresh fruit and yogurt, all excellent.

There was nothing we didn't like.

L'Herbe Haute was a great place to stay in beautiful Normandy. The owners were lovely and it felt more like staying with friends, particularly at breakfast time.

Exceptional in every way- location, property and especially the fabulous hosts Sandra and Gilliuame who couldn’t do enough to help us. Breakfast was amazing- fresh products daily including hone make cakes, jams and pastries. Everything presented and served beautifully. Dogs were made to feel most welcome and they had lots of fun with Marcel in the gardens!

Amazing stay. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the hosts are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful surroundings, all in all we didn’t want to leave.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Our first meeting was with the housedog Marcel. He is a real teddybear. We got some nice tips to see in and around Honfleur from Guillaume. The b&b was adorable! A green and quiet area! We had a beautiful room with a nice view. Breakfast was incredible with local ingredients.

Everything was perfect for us.

Love Honfleur-it’s a beautiful town. Lots of history. Plenty to do. L’Herbe Haute was outside the main town and is set in a breathtaking location with fantastic views all around. Plenty of parking. Everything is well maintained by the lovely hosts. Breakfast was set out well and was very leisurely. There was a large swimming pool available but unfortunately we didn’t have time to try it out.

Amazing hosts, made us feel so welcome and went over and above to make sure we had a good time. Very friendly and lots of brilliant local recommendations. We had everything we needed and more. Comfortable beds, gorgeous pool and beautiful grounds. Exceptional breakfast with local produce, could not have asked for a better stay!

We liked everything about this accommodation

The location and the house are beautiful and the owners are very kind, welcoming and helpful. We got a lot of great tips for restaurants and for sightseeing. They make a lovely breakfast with every day a different homemade cake and local products. The garden is also beautiful and everything is very clean and neat. We would recommend this accommodation to everyone! And hopefully we can come back in the future. Thanks Sandra & Guillaume!

Beautiful place, wonderful hosts, excellent breakfast, individual approach, recommendations for trips, comfortable beds, tastefully decorated, Sandra even picked us up at the bus and brought us before we rented a car. What to add? We highly recommend and look forward to coming back sometime :)

This is a wonderful place. Gorgeous property and incredibly hospitable hosts - amazing people. The breakfasts were very thoughtful and enjoyable. Loved the piano! Very quaint and charming!! Highly Recommend!! Hope to return at some point.

a beautiful Normandy house situated a short walk into the centre of Honfleur. The rooms are exceptional and tastefully furnished. Cleaning was to a high standard. you can sit out on the terrace and enjoy the views of the valley. Breakfast was homemade and delicious.
