My travel plug wouldn't work. Bring a few to try

Had a great big burger and fries in the restaurant. Absolutely reccomend it. Devoured the lot. Parking was easy. And location was perfect for access to motorway. Basic room. Clean and everything was functional. And had a very good night sleep after a long journey from Roscoff. Staff were lovely. Very helpful.

We wanted somewhere that was near the main railway station, which L’Excess certainly is. Our room was very basic, but clean and comfortable. We were able to have our evening meal in the restaurant. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful.

There was no air conditioning, but a good fan was available; the clip to hold the shower head was broken; the cold tap ran hot for a long time (suggesting that the pipe was positioned next to the hot water supply).

It was convenient for Vierzon Station; the room was a good size, a friendly welcome

Superb welcome (and farewell) by the people at the brasserie below the hotel. Room had a nice view. Bed and pillows where comfortable. Great to have free parking on the road and some hot coffee and croissant in the morning. We appreciated our stay, MERCI!

I stayed here during a drive through France. I spent 8 hours total in the hotel. It was a good fit for my needs: there was a comfortable bed and a shower. In summary: not great for a week long family vacation, but if you just need a bed for a night, it's a great choice. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were doing their best to help me in English.

The metal doors and lightweight fabricated walls of the lobby corridor and rooms did little to soundproof any guest activities. Upholstery, carpets and soft furnishings would help absorb noise, but make it harder to maintain the high level of cleanliness....and, for the price we paid, would be too much to expect.

The hotel was very accommodating when we had a breakdown en route. My faltering French and their lack of English on the phone didn’t prevent them messaging me to help. Supported also by booking.com's immediate translation they put my mind at rest. What's more someone was waiting to direct us when we arrived at a late hour, even though we had a code for entry! A parking space had also been kept for us. The en suite room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable with adjustable heating. The bar area downstairs looked very welcoming and we would have had breakfast an stayed longer if we'd had time.

Only, slight negative is that they do not do bréakfast on a Sunday morning but if you're traveling and with stops plentiful on the autoroute that's hardly an inconvenience. Bakers etc close by if desperate!

Not luxurious but warm and clean with a bar/brasserie downstairs with friendly staff. What more does one need? Parking directly opposite with cheap fuel from LeClerk a few minutes away with easy autoroute access.

The rooms are plain and it wouldnt be to everyones taste, but we would stay there again.

Friendly staff and convernient location just a bit off the autoroute, but in the town. The bistro food was so-so but served by helpful staff in an authentic settinv. They helpfully sent on a wallet my son had left.

We arrived to find the bar underneath it was very noisy and busy with locals, which clukd be heard jn the room. The entrance to the hotel was not secured or monitored meaning anyone could walk in up to the rooms. The street outside for parking was dark, not secured or monitored meaning our packed car with bikes was available to anyone. We had our 2 children with us on our way yo our holiday so did not feel it was a secure place to stay. Therefore we left & parked at a motorway services and slept in the car.

Internet was very poor and erratic. This was the only thing I really felt could have been better, and reliable fast internet should be standard now, so there's no excuse.

Convenient and easy to book in. Relaxed environment and friendly staff. Clean and simply room.
