The building has a lot of character, interesting decorations.

The shower system is old-school. Easy to get water everywhere.

The property was close to the cathedral and main squares but removed enough from noise! Perfect location

Access by walking only. Street parking is 200m away. Location is close to the basilica and other areas of interest and restaurants. The comfort is of an old, early 20th century building, presented as a reconditioned appartement structure with stairs only up to the 4th floor. This old charm may appear like a time travel experience but if your goal is modern sanities, well, that may not be for you. The house manager is ready to help and quite cool.

Breakfast is skimpy : bread, butter, strawberry and apricot preserves, fruits, tea, coffee, and cheese (2 slices) if they are still current plus A couple of yogurts make the daily start. This side of the experience needs a serious improvement.

Large room with ensuite toilet/sink/bathtub. Location was quite central, but on a quiet side street. Breakfast was all I needed. The host was friendly and helpful.

I have no real complaints. I would have enjoyed interacting with the other guests a bit more. The only opportunity was over breakfast as there is no other common area.

Attentive host, good continental breakfast, excellent location in a quirky street in the old part of town. Lots of old relics nicely displayed and their history explained by host.

Shower in the bath rather inconvenient. May just have been our room. Our room sunless but good lighting.

Location was great - very close to old town - walking distance to my interests. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Had to work with limiting noise etc after 10pm - which wasn't too difficult.

Limited breakfast options but good quality. Main thing that was very inconvenient was that Check in couldnt happen till 4pm (I arrived by train at 12pm). The hotel was completely closed till 4pm.

Think traditional & you won't be disappointed. Amazing host. Helped me out upon arrival to fix my bike. Many thanks 👍🙏

Antoine the owner went out of his way by staying very late for me when flooding blocked the roads to Le Puy en Velay. He is a gentleman & kept messaging me with weather report updates. The rooms are in the centre of the old town and they and the breakfast were excellent.

The room was very spacious, the host was very affable and helpful and location was excellent. Breakfast was good.

The bath didn’t have a plug and having a shower in the bath was difficult because there was no where to place the shower head but other that we enjoyed our stay.
