Saucepans could be better but everything else was great.

Location could hardly have been better the barbican area is a short if steep walk to the citadel, slightly longer but fairly level to La Bastide Saint Lewis. So close to everything but far enough away to be quiet. Fantastic patisserie in the citadel, more regular tabac and local shop 2 mins around the corner. The flat is really nice, comfortable without being cluttered, with the bonus of secure parking for one car.

The host met me on arrival and oriented me thoroughly. Air conditioning was already turned on and chilled water and champagne gift waiting in the fridge. Responds quickly to questions. Rooms were spotless and well organized with modern equipment. Amazing view of the chateau and ramparts from the home. 5 minute walk including several steps up to the Castle. Perfect vacation home. Would not hesitate to stay again!

The view to the castle is astonishing. The host are extemely kind. We arrive by train with big luggages without driving a car, they even help to pick us up and drop us for check in and check out. We can easily find a shop nearby for buying fruit, milk, bread, etc. Walking to castle in early morning can fully enjoy the view in cool temperature and quite streets. This is a great apartment that I will highly recommend to others.

This is a very well- appointment apartment. We loved the modern facilities and the cleanliness. It is great value for money. The views from the terrace of the citadel are spectacular.

The hosts Marc and Gisele met us at the airport and took us to the property.The balcony view was amazing of the castle. The hosts were amazing as well. Everything you could need including tourist maps and booklets. We were five of us traveling and they even had games for our grandson of 3. The apartment was perfectly positioned for the tourist attractions

Amazing views of the castle and lovely spacious apartment. The hosts were very helpful and it was especially nice to meet them upon arrival and have them welcome us. The parking space was awesome. From the location you walk directly up to the stairs leading to the Aude gate.

Excellent location close to the castle and walking tracks along the river, stunning view and hosts were incredibly welcoming (I had forgotten to mention I was bringing my baby but when they realized they brought out toys, crib and a high chair that we could use which was incredibly helpful). Everything was excellent - the location and the apartment is lovely and spacious, perfect for our family of 4 The hosts went out of their way to rearrange our dates and also provided us with bikes. The location is excellent with an quick walk to the old city and an amazing view from the Terrace.

Lovely welcoming owners Gisèle and Marc. We much appreciated the wine! The apartment is stylish and well-equipped as well as being in an excellent position for exploring the Cité and Bastide areas. Just one suggestion: it would’ve been nice to have a full-length mirror, eg on the back of a door. We celebrated our anniversary at a formal restaurant and it would have been handy to be able to check our outfits before leaving. Overall, great accommodation with lots of outside space, very handy parking and fabulous views.

Wonderful location with stunning views of the Chateau Comtal. The property was very clean and well kept, plenty of room for our family of six. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Hosts were extremely accommodating even bringing us phone chargers when we forgot ours. They even drove us back to the airport on our day of departure. Amazing trip and would definitely recommend staying here.

The only issue was signing onto the Wi-Fi, but the hosts quickly resolved our problem.

We loved everything about this property. We had our own gated parking and the most amazing view of the walled city.

Nothing. It was perfect!

We had the loveliest time staying at this apartment. The beds were comfy, the shower was powerful, and everything was clean and cosy. We even arrived to find a bottle of wine waiting for us! But the view and the hospitality from the hosts really made our stay. The terrace is the perfect spot for relaxing with a glass of wine after a day sightseeing, and allowed us to sunbathe in the afternoon, even in October. The hosts are incredibly friendly and generous, making themselves available through our stay and even offering us a lift to the airport. We absolutely recommend that you stay here when you visit Carcassonne. You won't regret it.

Nothing that was controllable, but there was a wasps nest in the umbrella so we were almost attacked by wasps. Bbq area was a little unclean so we did not use it. But why would you when you have the citie to explore and eat
