How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No lift to back rooms.
Good location. Close parking. And an added extra you must try was the restaurant le chalet, just up the hill behind the town square. Great food.

Small things here, put a toaster out on your breakfast buffet. Also, put a sign in your spa to request guests not to use mobile phones. One of the fellow guests were filming in the spa area, which is totally intrusive.
The staff on reception were truly memorable and friendly. Thank you for all your hardwork.

It was pricey but we were very happy with the room
this hotel was convenient to everything and our favorite feature was the air conditioning! :-) We had basically two separate bedrooms for the three of us and it was wonderful- we didn’t feel cramped at all. we enjoyed the spa tremendously Breakfast was good, glad it was included

The pool area was a little small, but we managed to have the relaxation room all to ourselves. The room itself could be bigger and have at least a chair to sit on.
Hotel is in a good location, in center on main street, with free parking located just a few minutes away. Room was comfortable enough although nowhere to sit except the bed. Room had amenities like robes for spa, soap, conditioner, lotion, hot water pot for tea. Breakfast was delicious, lots of warm food options. Spa was also better than expected. The spa area is a pool, sauna and hammam. There was also a relaxation room. Some water and small snacks available also.

the spa! we booked because of the spa but several things weren’t ok: people in sauna in bathing suit without a towel, then they go into the pool/hot tub wearing the same bathing suit (disgusting). sauna should always be nude zone. sauna door doesn’t close properly, so HUGE waste of energy. all relaxing are is much too hot (waste of energy again), we were sweating instead of relaxing in the nice cove. the shower drain wasn’t working, waste water ran out everywhere, even through under the door into the corridor.

Our room was the size of a postage stamp. The bed filled up 80-90% of the room, leaving no space to store luggage, move around, etc. The desk was at the foot of the bed, but there was no room in between the two to put a chair in order to sit at the desk.
The hotel has a great location. The room was clean and the staff was helpful.

*The housekeeping service. Nobody came to clean on the 2nd day. On the 3rd day, the lady came, fixed the bed but didn't clean the floor. Hand gel in the bathroom wasn't refilled. *the door handle/ lock needs to be replaced. *aircon didn't work, had to open the window all night.
The hotel location is good. The staff were friendly and speaks English very well. Bed was comfy.

Overpriced during the summer season - we are visiting Ribeauville couple times per year and this was so far most expensive stay.

Spa: We couldn’t find towels, bathrobes, or slippers. We were using our only shower towels from the room while getting over clothing and shoes wet. Super easy to trip on a door strip going in and out of room.
Location. Front desk staff was wonderful—both the man who checked us in and the woman working the next day. Elevator.

Room was very small and we were up in the attic with a sloping roof which made it a bit claustrophobic. Breakfast was very disorganized, very crowded and understaffed so there were long lines to get coffee and other breakfast items. We experienced a negative feeling at breakfast. Room seemed expensive but that may be we were just reaching peak season.
A/C worked on a hot day.

The decor was dated.
A convenient hotel in the heart of Ribeauville. We had a spacious room with a kettle! Breakfast offered a good choice.

The size of the room. It was quite small for 4stars
We loved the spa and the little extras such as snacks. The breakfast was fabulous. We liked the relaxed atmosphere.
