Clean rooms, lovely evening meal and breakfast. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Garage parking for motorcycles, excellent value, would definitely stay again.

Stairs between first and second floor were a little steep, until we realized that there was a shallower staircase at the other end of the hall.

Lovely little hotel in a quiet little town, the rooms were a really good size too. Host was very friendly and helpful despite only having a slightly better grasp of English than I have of French. (google translate is a wonderful thing). Meals in the evening were excellent, breakfast was traditional continental.

Garage ceiling in dangerous condition wish I noticed when I parked my motorcycle ( luckily no damage done but the loose plaster need attention)

The beer garden was a blessing ( boiling hot during our visit and the shade was welcomed) food was absolutely amazing ( we didn't have breakfast) owner was very welcoming and use of Google translate we managed no problem Bathroom was the largest I've ever seen for a hotel 😀 fan in the room was a blessing due to the heat tea and coffee making facilities provided

While it was most important for me that my parents were accommodated in the G flr as requested, it would have been really good if they could have provided for hot water kettle as default in the rooms. As it turned out, they had a full kitchen that was available for rooms to share in 1s t floor - so it all worked out well. No complaints really.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The bathrooms/toilets were also clean and quite spacious for European standards. The couple who run the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, and willing to accommodate our requests. Apparently, it was listed that their rooms are all in 1st or 2nd floor with steep stairs which I had missed. Thankfully, when I made the special request, they were very prompt to respond back and also accommodate my parents in the nearby annexe room in the G floor. The town/village of Aubrives is very quaint and quiet. Perfect stay to visit Dinant as well as Luxemboarg, which is lgihtly farther away. But the drives in the country side was very scenic. Would come back here again.

Lots of stairs for the less than mobile... Basic rooms. Otherwise all good..

The patron host is fantastic ..friendly and flexible. The rooms are basic but comfortable and warm ... The restaurant was lovely with the patron gearing our menu to my colleague's needs (vegetarian) whilst cooking my beef, "bleu" exactly as I'd ordered.. loads of well cooked, tasty food plus beers and wine at a reasonable price. Excellent buffet breakfast in the morning well worth the rate charged with fresh baked croissant and bread... the patron also appears to run the village bakery from the hotel ...which explains waking up at 0630hrs to the smell of fresh bread... Free parking, good WiFi Recommended

Location is quite isolated especially on the nights the restaurant is closed. Also couldn't receive guests until 16.30 which isn't a massive deal unless you get the message from them at 12 o'clock the same day and you are nearly there.

I've asked five times for an invoice, which I have still to receive. Closing the administration and receiving reimbursement is impossible without the proper collaboration from the hotel manager. I'm not exactly amused. (Obviously, I would not have put this feedback here, if I had received a reasonably decent response to my enquiries.)

There's not much else around, the nearest place is a ride/drive. That said, it was a stop over on a long trip, so the peace and quiet was nice

Nothing to dislike

The hotel was also the local pub, bakery and cafe (although they were closed when we arrived) The owner was welcoming and allowed us to use his garage for our motorbike. The breakfast was continental style and plentiful. The hotel was a short distance from the river with some lovely walks.
