How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing to complain about.
Secure underground parking for motorcycles was good. Close enough to walk into town square, which has lots of food and drink options. Decent breakfast.. friendly staff...all good.

Underground parking was great for our Motorbikes, close to to town centre with plenty of choice for food. Breakfast was good, plenty there and plenty of choice.

It was my third stay at the Kyriad. I travel on my own to visit family and friends and feel safe there. Following my request I was allocated a quiet room which was a good size for me and clean. I like the breakfast which offers plenty of choice. It’s only a short walk from the Place Ducale, town centre, market, shops and restaurants.

Coffee at breakfast

The breakfast area could get busy if the hotel was full though this was only a minor problem on one morning. The shower we had leaked water onto the floor which made it slippy, the bathmat was completely sudden after two showers despite our best efforts.
Nice hotel near the town square which was a 5 minute walk. We had a corner room which was bigger than standard and was really nice. Staff were really helpful and there was an underground car park for the motorbikes. This was €10 a night but worth it and we only paid for one space as two bikes fitted.

Secure parking for our motorcycles under cover was a real bonus as the weather wasn't very good at times. We were able to load up under cover Hotel was perfect for our needs and the breakfast was fine

The tea and coffee making facilities - on an enclosed shelf behind the door. But most of all I didn't like the disposable cups for the hot drinks. They were not insulated and I nearly burnt my hand taking the hot drink to the bedside. I thought they were very dangerous flimsy cups.
Hotel was within walking distance of this beautiful town. Room was clean and perfect for our stay. Secure garage parking for our motorbikes at a cost of 10 euros a night, but worth it for the the peace of mind. We didn't have breakfast or any meals at the hotel so cannot comment. The staff were very helpful. Nice comfortable beds.

Not a lot not to like really.
The hotel is positioned about 300m from the town centre where there were pleanty of restaurants and a lovely large town square. Parking for the motorbike being underground and safe, was good and worth paying for. Staff were helpful and spoke Englilsh.

I booked a double room but had 2 single beds.
Modern comfortable hotel with secure underground parking for our motorbikes. Very good breakfast choice. Really friendly welcome at check-in helpful reception staff throughout our stay.

Little bit noisy
Clean and proper place to stay! Very nice foam pillows Breakfast is good. There’s a good private parking spot at the hotel for 8 euros a night.

Having to keep curtains drawn even in daylight not to be overlooked. Some sort of net would be useful.
