Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI was glad to be accompanied by my husband walking from the metro to the hotel as I would not have felt so safe as a woman alone. That said, we witnessed no harrassment or trouble, although there were sounds of a brawl outside after we had gone to bed. Although the keycard restricted access to the room, there didn't appear to be anything to stop non-residents entering the building and going up the stairs to the bedrooms.
The hotel room was generously sized, and the air conditioning worked well on a hot August night. For those who like their own wash basin, our double room had one each. There was a fridge/minibar and coffee machine in the room. The hotel was chosen for its proximity to the Gare du Nord.

United KingdomFor the 3 nights I stayed, there was hardly anyone at the bar to take our orders. It’s like there’s no staff on site expect on check in desk at entrance.
The room was huge and very big for Paris. Loved the layout and design

NetherlandsThe hotel was in a bit of an odd location. Unlike other reviews I wouldn't call it a ghetto or something, but we did get people trying to sell us stuff illegally. Overall, during the day it's fine, but I don't think I'd want to walk there at night. The AC died the final few days and only blew cold air at certain hours. The room layout was odd, with no real separation between the bedroom and shower. There was a wall between it but no door or even curtain. The room was also fairly bare, but we didn't spend that much time in the room. The walls are very thin, so you can hear a lot. Including the very loud elevator. The lock on our door was also not functioning properly. This led to a cleaner accidentally opening the door when we didn't respond in time. This wasn't a big deal, but a functioning lock is preferred. A peephole would also be good, since a couple of times it sounded like we had someone knocking on our door late at night. (In hindsight this might be our neighbors being a bit loud and bumping their own door when they came back)
The hotel was good! With nice restaurant, and nice breakfast. The staff was very helpful and kind! The food from the restaurant was amazing and the bed was good. The metro station was a small walk away so you could easily go wherever. The shower and wifi were also good! The windows could open wide too for if you want fresh air. The room was big and not cramped at all.

NetherlandsThere was no desk to sit and do some work, even though the room was spacious enough to accommodate one
We got an upgrade to a larger room, which was great. The outdoor area is pleasant, with seating and a relaxed vibe. It’s in an interesting neighbourhood, full of local shops and world cuisines — though the area might not suit everyone, as it’s a bit unpolished

FinlandThe room was strange, the shower in the same space with the bed. From the door you can see directly to the shower - no privacy at all. The personnel totally heedles. No toilet paper in the room even if we asked several times. Room cleaning was not good either. The breakfast very poor but expensive!
The room was very large.

United KingdomThe neighbourhood is rough and felt unsafe. Didn't feel like you were in Paris because of the neighbourhood. Not clean.
The hotel and the staff were great. A beautiful modern hotel, everything ran smoothly. They even had parking for our car. Rooms were large and clean. At arrival we were upgraded to a premium suite (larger room). Very close to 2 metro stations.

SwitzerlandI had a nice and very large room with so much space but i wished there was a sofa or a comfy arm chair. Instead there was just two designer chairs made of steel wire. They looked cool but were very uncomfortable to sit on. There would be enough space for a nice comfy lounge or sofa to enjoy the large TV. Other than that everything was perfect.
Nice design, parking included, very nice large room, friendly professional staff at reception, really good Service. Coffee machine in the room and large TV. Well run hotel.

NetherlandsWhen I arrived at the hotel I was a little in shock how narrow the underground parking was and I missed a little headsup in the hotel information I managed to fit a Audi A6 in and out without a scratch but it did cost me soms drops of sweat. And as a second the neighborhood was like a ghetto where they tried forcing us to give them cash.
The hotel was amazing. Looks, staff, room, restaurant almost everything was spot om

NetherlandsThe hotel has free parking which is nice but it is really not made for big cars. We arrived with a bmw 4 series and we barely made it all the way down to the second level. The first turn into the garage is very short because of parked cars and the entrance is just really small. But still nicr to park for free just don't arrive with a dodge ram or something because that is not gonna work. We found some hairs in the room but nothing too bad. The bathub/shower looked more like a normal room on photos instead of a junior suite.
The staff was very friendly and they let us park our car in the parking garage already before checkin which was very nice. The room was big (junior suite) and the bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast included which was very tasty with fresh baguette, pain au chocolat and croissants. Also eggs available and a lot of different cheese and meat options for on your toast. The location is close to different metro stations.
