How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I have not slept so good in years. Friendly staff and good breakfast although I missed an egg. Definitely will remember this place in a very good way!

3rd time staying here. Very good location with friendly staff. Room was very clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Made use of the pool which was clean and well kept. The restaurant was good with very tasty meals.

Bed on the soft side and very basic amenities. Airco was very noisy so we had to turn it off. Shower head could not be mounted which is annoying. Food in the restaurant was good, but the meat portions were really large.
Fine though small room. Food in the restaurant was good. Friendly people all round. Fine hotel and restaurant for a night en route.

Only one of the staff members was able to communicate in English.
Quiet hotel with easy access to the highway. Beds are comfortable, and everything was nice and clean.

Indoor pool was not open

Some milk to go with the tea and coffee in the room would be nice.
Excellent location - we were travelling to the alps. Quick easy to get to from the A31. The restaurant is good value - make sure you book a table when you check in as it can get busy, even on a week night.

Staff was correct but not warm/welcoming. Restaurant was convenient but not extraordinary.
Clean and spacious room and bathroom including shower. Location close to highway and short drive to touristic town. Breakfast was basic but good value for money (10 euro pp) and well serviced.

Air conditioning didn't work.
Good sized room as we booked an exclusive room as we were tired of pokey small rooms and bathrooms. Proper size and bathroom was excellent. Towels were good. Shower was excellent. Good location for an overnight stay. Secure parking is a good addition and the restaurant next door serves good food.

There is no hotel restaurant as such, but it shares the site with a grill restaurant, 50 metres away. This was able to accommodate us - we asked for a table for ten, including children aged 9, 7, 6, 3; for 7pm. This was to ensure the children ate fairly promptly. We were the second group in, our order was taken fairly quickly , and we got our starters after a not unreasonable delay. There was a very long wait before the main courses arrived, during which the restaurant accepted more and more guests to fill up every table (and no doubt maximise revenue) despite having only two serving staff and the manager helping out; and (it seemed) serving everyone else before us, despite the young children. Needless to say, this was a major problem, and would prevent me recommending it for families, or returning in future. Oh yes - despite being a grill, the meat quality and/or cooking was poor.
Good no-frills rooms, plenty of space. Hotel staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast was a buffet but was fine.

Internet very poor in our room so had to use our phones. Indoor swimming pool not functioning which has been the case before.
Good breakfast at a reasonable price. The restaurant next door also serves good food at a reasonable price. Handy for the motorway.
