How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Strange triangle shaped room with a small gap to get one side. No coffee, tea making facilities or fridge in the room.
Nice and clean hotel. Staf were good. Breakfast was good. Easy walk into Nancy

The car park is very tight, both in terms of access/exit and parking spaces. Tried to park considerately only to have someone park next to me in a manner which while they could access their car drivers side I could not access my car at all. Fortunately before I had to climb in through the back they left. Might be better to use public parking opposite the Hotel?

Staff on reception were very helpful, breakfast was good with items regularly replaced. Good choice. Excellent location with secure parking (additional cost)

No elevator from the underground parking up to the hotel. Quite inconvenient with heavy luggage. There were only bath towels in the bathroom. Would have been nice to have hand towels as well. We also missed a small fridge/minibar in the room.
The hotel feels very modern and stylish, seems to be newly renovated. Room furnishing looks brand new. The new Ibis room concept is modern, clean and functional. The USB sockets near the bed are really handy and appreciated. The bathroom is comfy and the shower simply great! Breakfast is very good with great variety of choices. Secure private parking is a huge plus!

Could not reserve parking at the hotel and when we arrived the parking at the hotel was already full. Had to park accross the street in a public car park. Luckily the parking was free from 18h00 - 10h00 on the saturday.
Location was great, room and bathroom was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Front desk was efficient and helpful. Exactly what you want from IBIS Hotels.

The safe in the room didn't work, and wasn't able to be fixed.
Nice room with view of the lake. Breakfast was good and the had also nice sitting area outside. Friendly staff and free parking. Ability to leave the car and take bus to the city center.

We have arrived around 7pm and hotel parking was full by that time. At the same time, hotel has recommended a nice public parking 50 meters away.
Clean, refurbished property with a perfect location. Great value for money.

There isn't an elevator from the parking garage to the reception. Also there aren't luggage trolleys, which makes sense since you have to lift everything on the stairs anyway.
Very modern hotel, everything is brand new as it seems. The beds are good, there is a huge tv and a bathroom with rain shower and bathtub.

Air conditioning was broken in the hotel, it was 30°c and we had to sleep with the window open. It was the festival of St Nicholas that weekend so outside noise was very loud until midnight.
Great location and reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb, very good choice and good coffee.

We had 2 beds (1 bed and 1 bed-sofa) unfortunately we couldn't use the sofa mode, making the room a bit tight. We had a buggy and some luggage but had we come with more stuff the room would have been full

Only one towel and the smallest, cheapest, thinnest bath towel I have seen at a hotel which is so nicely furnished otherwise.
