I would have liked some kind of basic hairdryer in the room. Sometimes difficult to find a parking space in the car park at night time.

I didn't realise it was a budget hotel when I booked it so it was much more basic than I expected - no kettle to make hot drinks, nor hairdryer or carpet on the floor.

The hotel is very convenient - walking distance from the Parc d'expositions. Breakfast was good and inexpensive. The breakfast room faces south and has views of the mountains and there is an outside sitting area with a small garden. The lady who checked me in was friendly and efficient. The shower was fine. Gated parking. You can check in really early.

A little rundown. Not much in the way of facilities.

Parking spaces had weird angles and late in evening, spaces filled, with a few guests parking badly, blocking extra spaces. There was also a sixt large lorry taking up 3 spaces so we had to park in the electric car charging space. top bunk bed was not made up, so we had to climb up to do that ourselves.

Family room was a good size. Small table with chair as a working space. 5-6 hangers for clothing, long mirror in room. Bathroom small but all that you need(except handwash at the sink). Free parking. Vending machines for snacks, drinks and coffee.

We stayed at the Spanish Lleidi Ibis in Aprill and the Tarbes in May and were expecting every thing to be the same. all was OK until breakfast which was entirely different to the spanish breakfast which was very fresh ,plentiful and a wide variety of choice. The Tarbes offering was very small with little choice, defrosted bread products large bowls of yoghurts not individual,same with fruit salad, only one meat product a nasty looking Salami.and small pieces of cheese and all displayed in a very small area we gave the breakfast a miss. It was disappointing after the spanish experience and I nearly forgot in Spain 6.50 but in France 7.50 for a inferior product

The location is a bit far out. Staff is helpful, but if you can't speak French, then you're in trouble!

Very noisy road - ask for a room that does not face the road.

Excellent value. Very clean room and public areas, comfortable bed, convenient location for an easy stop en route, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Parking at the door. Ample and inexpensive breakfast. Pleasant staff. For a comfortable inexpensive stay - difficult to improve on this hotel....as long as you ask for a room not facing the sound road, just metres from the hotel.
