Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe Chalet provided all we required for a nice break. The location, at the edge of town, meant a short 15 minute walk to Bozel's eateries, pubs etc. The location of the site has beautiful scenery in abundance, not least the river Doron, which runs alongside. The allocated free parking space beside our chalet was terrific. For skiers, the walk to the free shuttle bus to the ski areas is no more than 10 minutes walk away and runs regularly throughout the day. We really enjoyed Huttopia

Bulgaria1. The paths between the houses are very slippery and uncleaned in winter. I fell three times and had a hard time carrying the suitcase to the car. You need to pour sea salt, it's not expensive and save prevent healthy life and not broken bones of your customers.. 2. If you woman guest, take in the luggage Hairdryer! The accomodation doesnt offer it.very uncomfortable detail…So if you come from Japan you need to bring from the other part of the world hairdryer in your suitcase..in 21 century… 3.There is no oven, only microwave and gas stove.
Cosy and warm chalet in the mountain, only 11 km from Courchevel. Great location.

BelgiumThe kitchen however we believe the kitchen was ill equipped. Very minimal cooking equipment, there is a small microwave but no oven, no dishwasher, no kettle and no measuring cups. The sink was too small to properly do dishes in, and there was very little room to store groceries. The gas stove was also not very practical, too small and even on the lowest setting our food would burn immediately. some things are up to the guest to purchase/provide which is normal however we feel like kitchentowels were not an unnecessary luxury here, and it is unpractical and expensive to purchase. Kitchentowels and rags are also washable so it would make more sense for them to be provided. The bathroom was also subpar, the shower is small but most importantly not very clean. The caulk is in desperate need of replacement since there is dirt built up on all of the edges. Overall the bathroom was not very clean which should have been better for this price. The cabin is small, but I guess you could make it work for a short period. However be aware that the walls are paperthin and mattresses are quite uncomfortable for people who prefer a softer surface. One last thing is to make the pathways between the cabins more safe. We have all fallen on different occasions because of the ice.
We stayed in one of the cabins with 3 people. Overall our experience was very pleasant. The cabin was very charming with the lights on the porch and the fireplace. Towels and bedsheets were included in the price. The area is gorgeous, great for hiking in the summer but also a great option in the winter if you want to ski in Les 3 vallees. You are only a 10 minute drive away from courchevel le praz. There is assigned parking close to your cabin without addional fee. We had an issue with the bathroom however this was fixed the very next day and the reception, which was available at all times through a phone number was friendly and helpful. If you plan on coming here we definitely recommend huttopia, but here’s everything you need to know: - for skiing you can reserve parking in parking alpinium in courchevel le praz, which is located right next to the first lift to get you to the rest of the slopes. - There is a small grocerystore, farmacy, skishop and other basics right down the road in Bozel. For grocery’s there is also a super u a bit further down the road (20 min drive) they have everything you could possibly need. - make sure to bring shoes for walking on slippery surfaces, when there is snow the walk to the cabin can be an adventure. - there is no wifi, but phone service is great. Downloading movies on forehand might save you a lot of data. - pet the cat on the domaine. It is the sweetest. Some items to take from home to avoid having to purchase them in the alps: - basic spices (salt, pepper, …) - cooking oil/butter - sponges/rags for dishes and cleaning - kitchen towels (were not provided) - toiletpaper - dishsoap

SpainFor us everything was perfect, we’ve been with two dogs and we don’t need any luxury furniture when we travel with them. There’s no Wi-Fi, the house is flimsy, so you can hear every step or noise.
Location is amazing, 25 minutes from Courchevel 1850 by car, 5 minutes by car to Bazel’s center where there’re grocery stores, pharmacy, restaurants, bakeries, ski rent and everything you need, there’s a parking space, and there’s a huge space to walk with the dogs right next to the place. You have everything you need for stay in the kitchen

SpainAbsolutely nothing. Everything was perfect!
We loved the area and the setting around the huts. It has beautiful nature to wake up to and an amazing view of the mountains surrounding. The cabin has a fantastic wood burner which is just magical to sit next to at night before bed and warms the whole hut (exceptional that wood is provided also). We loved the porch out front to sit and eat our breakfast as the sun came up or watch the stars at night. The receptionists and ladies that ran the whole campsite were truly super helpful and made our stay very comfortable and easy, answering all our requests promptly. Bravo ladies! 11/10 would recommend to everyone that is looking for some peace and quiet after a long skii day!

GermanyThe chalet was not really clean, the fact that guests have to clean after their stay, cannot guarantee a good cleaning is done before the next guests arrive. 10.00 am check out is really too early, considering check in only starts after 16.00. There were only shower towels in the chalet, but unfortunately no face & kitchen towels. We had to prepare our beds at arrival and then take out all dirty towels and bedsheets at our departure, so i believe there could be some more services provided from the camping side.
Our chalet was very cozy and warm, enough to host 3 people. The location was amazing, very quiet, one could only hear the sound of the river next to the camping. The fact that there is no wifi and tv helped us take a break from social media for a couple of days! The staff was very helpful and always there when we needed something.

SwitzerlandThe cabin was very small, no wardrobe to store the clothes, not very clean, the “double beds” were just for couples, only one towel for each person, very thin walls, clogged drain in bathroom sink and shower. Also, we had to buy dish wash liquid (the provided one was just water), hands washing soap and toilet paper. I would say bare minimum requirements for a cabin, would be much more comfortable if it was 10 square metres bigger. Finally, I had flat tyre from a screw…
The privacy, free parking, cozy environment and the location, which was close to Courchevel and Plagne. Also, provided with an electric grill.
