How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Shower seal at bottom of shower door leaked a bit

The room cleaning did not happen every day, we had to place the garbage can in the couloir to make it emptied. The TV channels are quite limited.
Great charming hotel with the spirit of old town, located very close to the center. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is really friendly. We had some requiest which was met instantly. Also the parking option with the partner hotel nearby is super handy!

Noise from the street can be heard during the night.
Comfortable beds, spacious and very clean bathroom. Good air conditioning system. Excellent location - very close to the central pedestrian area.

Location was great. Newly renovated and fresh. The family room was perfect for a family of five. We used the parking garage which was very convenient. Can recommend.

The view of the room wasn’t so great but we was only there for the night so it wasn’t an issue. I was annoyed that a hacker had been contacting me through the hotels communication regarding payment. The hotel advised that it wasn’t their error though so I’m not sure if this is an issue with Booking.com. If the hotel was aware of this situation I think they should have contacted the customers to advise. Thankfully I didn’t follow the links regarding payment but I don’t know if anyone else would have been caught out.
The room was beautiful, with an arched ceiling and rustic brick decor, although too small for a family of 3. The shower and bathroom were also newly decorated.

The garage only had half a dozen spaces and with a large 4x4 type car manoeuvring was tight. It is accessed from a narrow side street and there is little clearance (more a fault of the vehicle we were in). We managed so all good but something to be aware of.
Rooms were large immaculate and modern with very good air conditioning system. The breakfast had a good choice of foods and eggs could be cooked to order. The quiche was delicious. Its positioning is great for the town.

Parking is small and very, very tight if it's full. Additional options might be useful for large cars. Our room did not have a small fridge but the hotel allowed us to store food in the staff's fridge, which was very nice of them.
Good location near the start of a long walking street of Ajaccio. Room was decent (although felt a bit humid and smelly before we started AC), and there was plenty of space for a family of 4.

Leaky shower doors, and the breakfast was just bad. Best to skip it.
The stone wall insets were a nice touch. The room was quiet and cool, lighting was good, bed very comfortable, great pressure in the walk in shower.

Perfect location. Very short walk into Rue Cardinal Fesch, the main road with all restaurants and shops. Nice and very helpful staff. Paid parking lot in a dark garage, although with a very narrow entrance.

Not really a dislike but there was some traffic noise at night but given the location was acceptable
the location was ideal for walking to the port and the centre of the city. the triple room was spacious, clean and excellent value for money. Reception staff polite and helpful with booking a taxi
