There is quite some debate about the size of the rooms. I'm 6' 1" and found the shower fine. The toilet was maybe a little tight. The room itself, whilst compact, made good use of every available space. The AC was quiet and effective. Overall we were happy with it and it was a good location for exploring the 7th (Invalides, ET, Quai d'orsay in particular) and by Metro to go further afield.

Clean room and a comfy bed. We had a great view of Les Invalides. There was a bottle of filtered water in the room which we could refill from the filter tap in the bar. A nice touch. Nuruddin on reception was very helpful. The happy hour free coffee and croissants in reception was also a nice touch.

The rooms were incredibly small even as small goes. The WC was so tight we could not sit on the toilet and close the door because it hit our knees. The location was a bit too off the main areas. No cafes for morning coffee nearby.

It was clean and in a good location. It felt safe. It was quiet. The breakfast was good.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel De France! The staff was absolutely amazing—so polite, helpful, and welcoming, both at the reception and in the breakfast area. Their kindness really made a difference and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was good with a nice variety, although it would be even better if the options changed daily, especially for guests staying multiple days. Our room was very clean and well-maintained, though it was a bit on the smaller side. However, the hotel’s location is excellent—everything you need is just around the corner, making it very convenient. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

There was very little hanging space for clothes.The lift makes very loud electronic beeps which could be heard on the rooms.

The location was great. Close to the metro and a nice quiet area with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance (one right under the hotel. We walked to the Eiffel Tower from here which only took us about 25 minutes. The breakfast was generous and varied and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a lot to all floors.

We did not like the size of our room. It was too small for us. We are small people that does not require much space. This room is more suited for one person. The room did not match the photos shown in Booking.com

We like that our room cleaning service is available to us upon request. We enjoyed the bed comfortness. We like the location, it was walking distance to access the metro and surrounding attractions. We also enjoyed the bathroom and shower facility.

Aircon was on a timer so woke up feeling hot in middle of the night however we went mid summer so I doubt this is a problem any other time of year! Shower pressure could be improved.
