How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Some of the staff were a bit too unhelpful (not to use other word) at times. not sure if it was because the hotel was fully booked or because that is how they are. The AC was not working well in the lobby and other common areas. Thank God the AC in our room was OK. At one time, two of the three elevators were down!!!
location close to every thing in town especially the supermarket. Mr. Christian, at front desk, was extremely helpful, smiley and cheerful. A big thank you to him, as he personally sorted out a problem we had with room service.

Bathtub floor slippery needs a bath mat not provided. House Phone from room do not work to front desk or room service a bummer. To have extra glasses or ice one has to go to the lounge bar to get it themselves ! No croissant served at breakfast highly unusual? No bottle opener available. No cutlery in room. Paper cups instead of regular cups
Situated very close to the beach where the jazz Juan was taking place. Hotel very good, if you are a marriott bonvoy member even more benefits like early check in or late check out. Breakfast excellent. Jazz band played superbly at the hotel. Rooms are well isolated if you don't like noise. Food choices were good too. Staff very courteous.

We had no complaints.
The hotel is ideally located a few minutes walking distance from the beach, shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The room size was adequate, the bed was comfortable, we had a nice balcony facing the pool which was pleasant. The pool itself was clean and the garden well-kept.

The swimming pool area seemed very run down. All the loungers need to be updated. Everything looks rather shabby.
It’s proximity to the town center. Perfect location.

The on site parking was difficult, tbf they was having work done in the underground parking area. The lift wasn’t available and stairways were shut? It was a nightmare to find your way out!
The location was perfect, room was lovely, staff were great.

The hotel is located just 5 minutes from the beach and very close to restaurants and bars. It is a good option to enjoy the beach and the sea with the family. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

very expensive for what it was. it needed attention in a number of areas - eg shower in room was not in great condition, very very slow internet connection, pool toilets were not good, expensive breakfast balcony glass was cracked - generally it was a little shabby in places. for the price I would expect all of these things to be seen to.
the beds were comfortable and the pool was a good size. rooms were clean. location was ok.

One of the ladders into the outdoor pool was wobbly and needs attention. Bedrooms need refurbishment. Bathroom too small. Insufficient storage in room. No bathrobes. Should’ve been china cups in room. Tea/coffee whitener was inedible. Hairdryer was attached to drawer and you had to keep your finger on the button while using it.
The location, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent lunches and good service in pool bar. Comfortable bed

No evening atmosphere or encouragement to use the bar or restaurant.
Staff were very good and helpful. All staff seemed trained to look after their guests. Location in the town central and convenient.

sink drain was slow and dirty in bathroom. one of the complementary bottles of water in the room was already open and partially consumed when we arrived. internet kept timing out and was not available for the duration of our stay. breakfast was pricey for what was offered…nothing made to order and no real coffee
