Absolutely beautiful Hotel, super well located, very good service and friendly staff, delicious breakfast! I especially appreciate the they were able to find the parking for us and reserve it.

The room perhaps needs to be checked thoroughly before one one checks in. One of the curtains was not hooked properly and one of the pendant lights in the bathroom wasn’t working.

Very minor issues only-breakfast was a bit limited, room lacked milk/creamer for coffee, entry seems primarily for restaurant and somewhat hides hotel aspect.

Lovely spacious room with glamorous decor and numerous high-end and custom finishes. Great to be able to reserve parking in such a central location. Really appreciated that it was dog-friendly. Staff were very pleasant to deal with.

Nothing to dislike- no parking at hotel but this is Albi City and we parked overnight nearby for one euro!!!

the fancy toilet in the bathroom was a little unnecessary and a little too high. That was it!

The hotel was in a great location - right by all the main attractions and the bars and restaurants. we. had breakfast in the hotel and ate dinner there also. The food was amazing. Staff are very nice. The hotel has another bar just down the road which also is great for drinks and usually some live music. Overall our 2 day stay was great and would recommend The Alchemy.

A little noisy. The reception area is a bit odd —doubles up as restaurant cashier etc. Just felt a little chaotic in arrival.

Lovely staff, perfect location. Very nice location for bfast on terrace. The landings and commons are beautifully done. The rooms was spacious and the bathroom gigantic and comfortable.

The hotel restaurant is open to the public and that's who they seem to cater for. As guests of the hotel we like to have a coffee sitting outside in the mornings, and a drink late afternoon before getting changed for dinner. However, as soon as one meal is over they lay the tables for the next. I was directed to sit at a table which they said they kept for guests, but it was a very hot day and the table was soon in full sun. This is a bit of a downside to the whole opulent experience of this hotel. I hope they remedy this soon as there is no need to lay tables straight after lunch when dinner isn't for several hours.

The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the town. We had a room at the back so it was quiet. We didn't eat in the hotel, but there are restaurants everywhere in Albi so we didn't find it difficult to find somewhere for a nice meal. Private Hotel parking is well worth going for. Our dog was happy too, and well accepted by the hotel. A lot of thought has gone into this hotel with it's different rooms. We travelled with family and had three rooms which were the rooms on the first floor, so it was like having connected rooms. A nice touch was the room which had my grandson in it - his bed was a sofa in the entrance to the bedroom so it felt as if he was a bit separate from his mum and dad. If you haven't been to Albi I would recommend it. A nice town, with everything within walking distance. The architecture is amazing, and a visit to the Cathedral is a must.

Parking a few blocks away was fine, but we were not asked about a car on check-in, nor were we offered valet service to the room.
