Limited number of (working) electric sockets. Opposite a pop-up beach 'rave' venue with very loud music into the eaely morning on two nights of our stay. No double glazing so difficult to sleep.

Perfect location, fabulous sea views, good quality breakfast buffet and pleasant bar and restaurant. Excellent service. Very clean and a stylish, and well-appointed building. Unusual glass circular lift.

Soundproofing could be better to say the least. I could hear people talking in adjoining room like they were next to me. We also had a daily issue with our safety box that had to be unlocked by a technician.

It's my third stay in that hotel so far. Well positioned across from English Promenade and facing sea, close enough to main areas of interest but with less party noise. Public car parking and e-bike spot just next door. It looks like hotel was renovated not so long ago, so rooms are not as run-down as in other 5* places around and have modern fittings. Room was reasonably spacious for Nice, but don't expect Dubai style size. It is well maintained with all necessary amenities present and refilled daily. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful and not just at check-in/out times, helped with luggage and few other things.

The beds were not comfortable at all. It was hard and looked like it had a dip in it. The pillows were flat as a pancake. We left the window cover down during the day to help keep the room cooler. The air could have been cooler.

The location was wonderful. Easy to navigate to food and shops but not crowded. Enjoyed the balcony and the massive window cover. The shower was good

The rooms felt quite small, which made the stay less comfortable. I also wasn’t a fan of the bathtub design — you need to be very careful getting out, as it’s easy to slip and potentially hurt yourself.

One staff was a bit rude. When we got to the hotel he said in a rude manner « what are you here for exactly?”, No hello, nothing! It left me a bit confused and I felt not welcomed. Secondly no one told us anything about the facilities, breakfast room, gym etc. He just gave us the card to our room. So even though the other staff were nice, my first impression left a bitter feeling.

I loved the location and the clean room. I loved the views from the balcony.

We were on the first floor. The windows were not sound proof so we could hear everything that was going on outside in the street at all hours of the night making it difficult to have a peaceful night’s rest. There was a crack on the wall below the window.

Really noisy band playing in the bar, then super loud music coming from the bar next door until 1am. My friend payed extra for a sea view and couldn’t sleep because of the noise. They wouldn’t lend me a towel to use on the beach, l literally only wanted to dry myself after a swim, not loll about all day on it.

Promenade location with the beach over the road. Super friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. AC cooled bedroom with comfy bed and a good size lounging area. Beautiful old hotel with all modern amenities.

They promised us a twin room, but that didn't happen. As we asked for a second blanket, we were given one but told that housekeeping had left, so had to make the bed ourselves.

No concierge. If I hadn't been to Nice before I would've been lost though we could ask front office staff question if they weren't too busy. VERY noisy with an oceanfront room - this includes emergency vehicles, motorbikes, people, bars, etc. Also, while some things can't be helped one of the 2 elevators in this large building was out of order 4 of the 6 day were there.

Room was spacious and bright, clean and well put together. Hotel was modern in appearance and in a good location. Breakfast buffet was nice with a lovely view of the ocean. Was nice to be able to walk to the train. Ocean front room also had a great view of the water.
