Our bed was on the firm side and pillows very soft, which may not suit some. It wasnt too much of a problem for us. Although the title says the Hotel Ibis Styles Tour Centre, the hotel is not right in the centre of the city if tourism is your focus. It's a decent walk or tram ride into the tourist/station/main restaurants areas. The tram is easy to use though for both the old town and train station, and the stop is a short walk from the hotel.

Superb continental breakfast which exceeded our expectations. Huge bed, good size shower too. Parking was available for a reasonable fee. The restaurant food was very nice albeit a bit pricey. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. A good option if you are passing through and straight forward access in and out of city made it good base to explore the area for a couple of days. We were delighted with the price we paid for our room with breakfast - great value.

The pillows were not very supportive which makes sleeping on the first night challenging but slowly got used to it. Still, not ideal. The entrance to the car park is challenging and I don't have a big car. Can't imagine a bigger car will be like.

the staff were very friend, helpful and very welcoming. Had some really good chat with some of the breakfast crew. It was great that the hotel arranged for a 5am breakfast on the day of the Ironman, which I am sure everyone was grateful for. The shower was amazing and the toilet a good size. There were lots of space in my room and I am in room 517.

The hotel has to upgrade its facilities. The bedroom had a lot of lamps that weren't working. The chairs and curtains were visibly stained and some parts of the bed were made of plastic that was falling out.

The fact that there was a parking place and the restaurant was pretty nice as well. The beds were confortable too.

Disappointed to be waiting at the bar for a member of staff for 15 minutes despite the receptionist knowing I was there so cancelled evening meal / drink and ate out instead.

Facilities did not seem up to par with the Ibis Styles standard I’ve experienced in other cities. The hotel also seemed understaffed.

The room on our return trip on 1st September looked a little more “tired” than the room we’d had the week before.

There is good parking on site and the hotel is very convenient for the tram and bus services into the city centre

The entrance into the carpark was very narrow. The hotel was a 25 minute walk from bars and restaurants.

There was no toilet brush, that was very negative. One toothbrush cup was used, it had red lipstick - that’s a big NO GO! The chair and the stool had big ugly stains - I wouldn’t sit on them!

The location - easy to get to from the motorway and then once the car was parked, a tram just outside to get into the town center! Breakfast was okay, the rooms are nice and the staff were helpful and friendly.
