Unusually some very rowdy and loud french guests, in a group. Can't criticise the hotel for this though.

Hotel is a large rambling affair, slightly run down in parts. However I only give good reviews where warranted. The location is first rate being so close to the town centre and the impressive chateau/palace and yet quiet and peaceful What really made it for us was the service from the manageress, she seemed to run the place single handed and yet delivered a great experience. So helpful and welcoming, deserves an accolade.

The staff is very efficient and always ready to help. The beds are very comfortable, the breakfast was very good. The location is perfect. It's home from home. I strongly recommend.

Very welcoming host, lovely spot in good location for my trip. Hotel itself is somewhat quirky but I enjoyed that and just few steps into town. Restaurant meal was great too.

The location opposite the chateau and near the bus stop for the station was superb, as were the excellent meals in the restaurant and the breakfast room. Staff were most accommodating , especially trying to claw back some money due to an error of booking 2 rooms , instead of one.

The bathroom is dated and is in the bedroom itself which is a little odd. The overall layout of the room is...idiosyncratic? Neither of these two points detracted from our stay given the positives above. Note we were in the "old" building - I do not know what the rooms are like in the annex.

Very friendly and efficient reception. Fantastic breakfast buffet with quality produce. Comfortable beds. Very good value for money. Much, much better than any of the hotel chains you find in France (even the higher end ones). Excellent air conditioning - almost completely silent! I could not decide between 8 or 9 for the rating as it is not a luxurious hotel, but what they offer for the price point is really good so I have gone for 9.

There were a bunch of dead flies on the floor.

It's very well place everything is close by . They're really nice parc in front to walk with the dog and the baby. The room was also big for all of us. The bathroom was really nice. The restaurant was nice also, but I recommend booking a table there and not trying to find something else

The Breakfast was excellent and the staff was always looking if something was missing. Good possibility to park the car. The location is easy to find and very quiet during the night.
