Beautiful location on a horse farm, protected by entrance gates. Not too far from Normandy beaches and Mont St Michel. Very spacious; lovely open room for a large group to eat, talk, relax. Each of the 4 bedrooms was en-suite. Comfortable bed, nice towels and sheets. We arrived very late (due to French air traffic strikes), and the staff was gracious and helpful nonetheless. There was a proper kitchen, with everything you could need - and the table was set nicely, plus a basket of fruit, fresh eggs and bread. I’ve stayed in probably 100 hotels on Booking.com alone, and this ranks in the top.

Wonderful stay. Bread, croissants, fruit, and other goodies as arrival gift were fantastic after a day of travels into Normandy. The grounds are amazing!

Only good things to say, we cannot fault this place!

Situated in the most idyllic countryside, we found the holiday house even more beautiful than in the pictures! The interior was flawlessly designed and executed, everything was very clean and a lot of thought had been put into the details. The garden was wonderful and we enjoyed walking around in it. The views over the surrounding countryside were stunning and the horses grazing the paddocks were a lovely bonus. We found everything we needed, the kitchen was also very well-equipped. The nearest supermarket was 10 minutes drive away. The staff was very kind and helpful and we enjoyed the visit to the stables to see the horses. We wish to be back someday!

This is a lovely property w beautiful grounds and the added benefit for horse lovers of lodging at a top tier performance horse training & breeding farm. Our 3 bedroom cottage was a well equipped & lovely spacious lodging! Even breakfast staples including eggs, croissants butter, cheese and fruit were left for us. We really enjoyed the horse facility tour incl seeing some of the horses

The women in our group detected a faint foul smell from the sinks

Situated in a lovely, expansive, country setting with fresh air, plenty of paths to explore around a lily filled lake and rolling countryside. A quiet and peaceful retreat from the typical holiday rush and tourist sites. We loved the horses, the staff, and breakfast. Staying there felt like being a part of a family. Wonderful!

We found the concept of no door between the bedroom and bathroom quite amusing - wasn’t a big problem, as the spaces are huge, but note that you might need to banish people into other rooms if you need your privacy.

Everything was totally lovely and charming - the decor, property, staff. Really enjoyed the breakfast as well, the local apples taste fantastic. Wish we could have stayed a few nights longer!

Nothing, it was all perfect.

The complimentary food including fresh pastries, bread, eggs, fruit, camembert, milk, butter and Nespresso coffee were a real suprise and of real quality. This was very much appreciated after a long journey. The accomodation was extremely clean and very well presented whilst situated in a beautiful setting. Our children loved seeing the horses!

It was stunning! Beautifully decorated. Super comfortable. Everything taken care of. Lovely Surroundings and very peaceful. Kids Especially liked the tour offered by Carole of the stable. Warm welcome and lovely ‘welcome’ bits: croissants, Brie, local cider etc. The whole experience was exceptional - thank you

Our stay in Lismore cottage and at the facility was the accommodation highlight for our France trip. Such a stunning place, we love everything about it. The friendly welcome, the beautiful decor and charm of the buildings, the truly exceptional gardens, lots of space to explore, and for us , seeing all the sport horses. We most definitely would book again.

All good. A swimming pool would be the icing on the cake but it is not essential as such a lovely location.
