We should have stayed longer to further explore the area! That's our biggest regret, we will be back. We brought pizzas with us to cook, but didn't realise that whilst the kitchen was well equipped and full (fridge, hob, microwave, crockery, glasses, mugs)- there was no oven; but Sandrine the amazing host that she is, kindly cooked them for us and brought them to us. (Sandrine was amazing).

Lots of space; beautiful location; very comfortable; great wifi; double bed for everyone! Digital TV; excellent and kind hostess; great wine selection to purchase at reasonable prices. The location of this property is very close to beautiful Arras and the war grave monuments.

Being English, some milk in the fridge for tea, would have been excellent.

Location and buildings were beautiful. Everything we needed. Plenty of choice from the very large mini bar supplies if you want them. Owner was really nice, and helpful finding us a local brassiere that was open and serving when we arrived in Arras. Great value for money.

An extremely pleasant stay in an absolutely beautiful countryside property. Highly recommended.

The apartment kitchen may benefit from the addition of an oven, but other than that everything is thought of. There is a microwave and a hob available. British visitors may also like a little milk left in the fridge for their inevitable cups of tea!

The breakfast was delicious, truly French, with fresh pastries and baguette wrapped in a beautiful clean tea towel, lovely fresh juice, fresh butter and apricot jam, boiled eggs, milk and a selection of teas. All discreetly delivered at the time we requested. Lovely to eat this in the dining room overlooking the courtyard, and watching the pigeons go in and out of their dovecotes. We were also able to walk around the property, our sons were delighted to see the chickens, meet a cat, observe a family of ducks, and visit the splendid show jumping horses. The apartment is clean, large, and very pleasant indeed. The host was really friendly and welcoming too.

Friendly staff but average stay due to poor advert

There were no toiletries available, despite advert stating there was, a small shampoo or body wash would be good. As above the advert is unclear about rooms available and breakfast.

A staff member was available when we arrived, this was late in the evening and we appreciated this. There was a language barrier as we don’t speak French but she was friendly and tried to help. We had booked for two people and the advert said 3 bedrooms, however 2 of these were locked and only 1 bed available, so one of us slept on the sofa bed with a blanket. The advert also said breakfast available but we couldn’t see this anywhere- perhaps this is on request but was unclear. The apartment itself was clean and tidy. Being on a horse farm there was the strong smell of horses to be expected.
