Like it says in the listing name, and also repeated in the message from the property before arrival, it doesn't have an elevator. This in combination with narrow stairs makes it quite tricky to get in or out with a large or heavy suitcase, so I would recommend going in lightweight if you plan to stay here. Be ready to use some translator app if you are not speaking French. Bathroom was also teeny-tiny.

Was looking for a place for an overnight stay near the Montparnasse station. This hotel worked out just fine for that purpose. I would note the really good location, not only to the station but to the city center, too. The room was tiny but everything needed (fan included, which was appreciated in this hot weather). The staff was also really nice.

The room wasn't prepared at check-in time. The stairs might seem claustrophobic. Communication was tough 😅 Stained toilet bowl.

For a budget Paris hotel it was perfect for our stay. Great location just minutes from the buzz of Montparnasse district. Room had a powerful and hot shower. It is a dated property as others have said but clean and comfortable for a couple of nights sightseeing when you are not in your room for long. Friendly and helpful staff, able to leave suitcase behind reception for several hours without issue. There isn't a lift so it might not be suitable for the less mobile. There is a slight rumble sound of the local metro from the rooms, quiet area apart from that. Would personally stay at Stanislas again for the value for money and location.

The location was good. Felt safe in the area as a solo female traveller. Decor a little tired but was ok for a 3 night stay wasn't in the room much just shower and sleep so was happy with the over all experience.

The room was functional and clean, but everything was very old and could use a bit of an update. For example, at some point the doors and walls had been repainted but not in a very tidy way (edges not taped off). Our bathroom door also tended to get stuck once in a while.

The staff was very friendly (note that they only/mainly speak French, so it helps if you as a guest also speak French!) and the location is excellent.

Stanislas hotel is excellent located, in the center of Paris, very convenient to walk around Montparnaise, Eiffel Tower, etc. Is an old and comfortable hotel that looks same that 50 years ago which offers a back in time experience. Staff are great, even they don't speak too much English, they always try to help, with a smile and try to get your stay comfortable. Room was clean, bathroom is basic but totally clean which is the most important. Bed and sheets too.

The payment of breakfast.We had been paying cash everyday to a staff...but to our surprise not recorded as paid.

The small room is all right. Clean and warm but no kettle.
