The location was great! The staff was exceptionally friendly and kind. The little gift and handwritten note I found in my room when I checked in were adorable and made me feel welcome. They called a taxi for me when I left and gave me good advice about where to go in town.

Even though it is right in the center, very close to the Port Vieux, that area is not much to my liking. It is full of strange people and I felt a bit uncomfortable coming to the hotel in the evening.

The hotel is very nice, clean, it has comfortable beds, the warm drinks are so lovely and the staff is very friendly.

I had read that many guests had found a little welcome present (soap) in their rooms so I got a bit disappointed I didn't find anything in my room (I was there to celebrate my 50 birthday on my own and it would have been cool to find a surprise, ahahah), but the atmosphere was so happy and familiar: that was the real present to me! So thank you and....till the next time! MERCI BEAUCOUP!

Perfect location (15 mins on foot from the railway station, 5 minutes to the Port and 10/20minutes to everything+restaurants and café everywhere around) very kind and always available staff (both at the check in and check out and every moment of the day). Staff can speak all languages all at least they do all efforts to be clear and be helpful in all manners, starting from good communication and happy welcome. Excellent breakfast both sweet and savory: this was not included and I paid for it: I'm glad I did it! The bed was really comfy! Something really suprised me: there's an aerea (h24 for the guests) where you have the chance to have free water and coffee and, what's more, there's a boiler with coffe and tea in the room. These details have been really appreciated and I felt quite spoilt and cuddled like at home :) As I'd love to come back to Marseille, I'll certainly choose again this hotel and I'll recommend it to my friends, too.

It could be a bit cleaner, especially the bathroom. The kettle was dirty inside (it looked like mold), but I was told at the front desk that it couldn't be replaced. And I don't understand why hotels treat two beds pushed together as one. Two beds are SEPARATE beds.

I found the route to get to the hotel from the train station was dodgy. I would have appreciated being email recommended routes to get to the hotel as I felt a bit unsafe while walking.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and I loved that there was free cold water.

This hotel really cares. The room was a bit small but clean and comfy. The location is not the most glamorous in Marseille but it’s safe and very convenient to the port and town center. There is always free water refill and coffee available. The best though is the staff.. they are so helpful and genuinely care. Theo is really great but they are all excellent.

This hotel is some 15minutes walk from the train station, and downhill. Located at 5 minutes walk to the old harbour and to the arch in, in different directions. Plenty of restaurants just outside the entrance. Helpful staff. I walked to all major sites in Marseille, but trams are also available on the street. It was a nice stay with excellent location and good value for money!

The stay at this hotel was wonderful. Located in the city center, with comfortable rooms, soundproofed both from the inside and from the outside. Excellent cleanliness and wonderful breakfast room, all really very welcoming. Speaking of breakfast, this offers a wide and delicious choice, all delicious and with attention to detail. But the real plus of the hotel is its staff: young guys, very helpful in dispensing advice and very kind. Their human value is what makes the Hotel Marsiho truly special and unique!! Highly recommended!!!

Only problem is you can hear the street life at night and lots of sirens.

Room was very comfortable and spacious with high attention to detail and cleanliness. Memory foam mattress made for great sleeps after long days out, and the staff were very accommodating to us with our past midnight arrival.
