The intimacy of the hotel. The spa treatments were amazing. Restaurant and bar are excellent. Just breakfast would have a bit more umph. It was rather bland. Down the street are better options for pastry and a bit of breakfast. Everything else os superb.

Hotel was great! Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff was so wonderful too! The shuttle that’s included was great and on time. Missed breakfast because I left so early.

The restaurant wasn’t up to the same standard, in our view. Very noisy, due to the hard surfaces everywhere, and the tables and chairs were hard and small. We felt very underwhelmed. Although we were just over the border in France the prices were Swiss. Fortunately the breakfast made up for it. Fantastic selection, with a charming young lady in charge.

Beautifully renovated old building with everything you could possibly want. They have thought of everything.

No fridge in the room. Shower facilities were a bit difficult to use - the shower head couldn’t be fixed.

The hotel is located perfectly in Saint Louis, within 15 minutes walk of the SNCF station and the 3&11 tram line stops. If you’re staying here for Basel, the bus stop is also right outside. The staff are incredible. Very warm and welcoming, helpful, kind and made out stay great. The room we had was fantastic, a huge bathroom with separate toilet, and we loved the art and books in our room. The bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed French breakfast with the most wonderful host who remembered our coffee orders and made for us each day.

The location was perfect - the staff gave us directions to catch the bus to Basel for Christmas Market shopping. The free shuttle to the airport at 3:45 am was most comforting and a truly added benefit!

There was nothing we didn't enjoy during our stay. Wish we had had more time for a spa experience, but sadly no time.

My goodness, this hotel was exceptional. From the moment we checked in, Mary, at the reception desk was extremely friendly, professional and so personable. She accommodated us with an early check in, fabulous room and escorted us to our room. What a pleasant and unexpected experience. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone I know. Hope you get booked in room 101 for your stay. Fabulous. Breakfast was delightful too.

Needed a property close to airport as had a 6.am flight the following day . Hotel is 10 mins from airport and provided a free shuttle at 4 am , which was great .

Beautiful hotel, full of personality. We loved the books and family photos every where. Very helpful, friendly receptionist, lovely large clean comfortable room, great shower. We liked the coffee machine in the room and the big dressing gowns. Transfers to and from the hotel.were a big plus. Breakfast was very good. We did not have time to use the spa but would reyurn and hope to do so then. Restaurant was fabulous, great food and amazing service from Piere

Comfort, cleanliness, nice design, location (quick and easy access to to Basel-Mulhouse airport), courteous and knowledgeable staff, parking, good wifi. Wish we could have tried the spa, our stay was too short. Highly recommended.
