They need to improve a bit the hospitality, everybody seemed very bored and non communicative.

Room recently renovated, big enough, modern bathroom

The hotel garage didn't open until 7.45 which stops getting a very early start .

Ideally placed on the St Malo to Nice bike ride, with safe cycle storage in the hotel garage. We arrived early and were given an early check in. Staff very friendly and helpful

Hotel has great potential. Seemed to be understaffed . Dinner ... set menu, was good. pleasant on the terrace.

Breakfast offering was adequate , area of food on offer very small and cramped. Only certain tables were allowed to be utilised in the dining room. A lot of space not been utilised. secure on site parking available at a fee .

It's a shame that the first interaction with the hotel was with the one member of the team who clearly didn't seem to enjoy running a hotel and made us feel like we were walking into Faulty Towers! The other team members were absolutely lovely but please try and have your best smile and greetings for new guests who may be tired from travel and unsure of the new village setting. Would be helpful to know about the limited parking and the €10 additional fee for underground parking.

Central village location, pool, clean and cool room even in the summer. Delicious evening meal

Lovely hotel at the bottom of a bustling village, perfectly located. Very nice pool and terrace area with a lovely restaurant. Staff were very hospitable. Rooms were comfortable, housekeeping every morning. Communal fridge was great too.

Breakfast items were a bit limited.

The hotel staff offered us a reserved parking spot in the back for just an extra 10 Euros. This is hard to town to park in. They also have a beautiful pool. Well located near downtown.

The hotel was in an excellent location on the edge of the town center and no more than a 10 minute walk from everything. There was onsite parking and you could reach the hotel without having to pass through the town center. The town/village has everything you could want and is in an excellent location for exploring the Verdon Gorge region.

This is a very well located accommodation just a stroll to all attractions. The free onsite parking was convenient and secure. The host is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We opted to dine at the onsite restaurant and found the quality of the food exceptional.

Room 305 needs some serious work. There is no shower curtain, and it is right next to the sink where toiletries are stored. The air conditioner stopped working at night, right when we needed it to sleep. Others in our group may not have experienced this.

Very good and pretty for Easter.

Bonne Auberge Nicely Situated and Moderately Priced, Moustiers St. Marie

It was cold while we visited, so we had to keep the heat turned up. Wood floors, which are good for people with allergies and for cleaning, make the room seem colder. I prefer carpeted floors because they are cozier in cooler weather, and I prefer to sit on the floor when there isn't a relaxing chair in the room because sitting on the bed hurts my back. I understand the use of press button coffee machines in the breakfast area - they save time (and free up personnel). All of the hotels have them now. If you are used to espresso or strong coffee, just go for the double espresso setting.

Breakfast was very nice with good variety. Enough even for a dairy avoiding vegetarian. Dinner at the hotel was lovely, and the dining room is charming. Room size was good considering our budget for hotels and always choosing the least expensive. Bathroom was nice. Windows opened which was great. Good closet space and heater. Room was in the back so it was quiet. There was a lift - great for bringing luggage up and down. The owner and his son were on site and very welcoming and friendly, and the son spoke English, which helped us -monolingual Californians. Our visit was in March 2025, so we still had free parking available right across the street - very convenient. I believe parking begins to be charged for in April. Hotel is well situated for walking into town, to the hiking trails, and to drive beyond to Gorge du Verdon, and to do our laundry 14 miles away in Riez outside the Intermarche. A short drive for a rural Californian. Other hill towns were barely opening up but we found an excellent small restaurant in Aiguines - delicious home.

Great Family-Run Hotel at Moustiers St Marie!

The stairs inside seemed very precarious - quite old and the concrete seemed to rock and not be solid. We ended up going around the building or taking the elevator only one floor. Also the rooms are very old-fashioned, super strange to have the toilet in a separate room from the sink and shower!

Nice traditional-style hotel at the lovely town of Moustiers St Marie! Family-run business with very friendly staff. Fantastic pool area, unfortunately we didn't get much time to use it but it is luxury in the mountains. The restaurant is also superb quality and you are walking distance for everything you can do in Moustiers St Marie. If we were staying there again, I would strongly consider this hotel!

Parking is an issue. If you forget to book parking at the hotel ahead of time you have to park more than a km down hill from the village and then climb back up

The hotel was really nice. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious and recently renovated. The swimming pool is definitely a plus with its amazing view of the mountains. Breakfast was also good. But beware of the wasps, as there was only a outdoors eating area.
