The hotel was in a good location for visiting Giverny and a reasonable price. The room was clean and plenty of hot water for the shower.

The hotel looked a little bit tired and in need of refurbishment.

Excellent friendly staff and a warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The location was on a commercial estate so there was a hypermarket and fuel nearby, plus we found a good restaurant a short distance away.

The staff is very friendly, particularly the young man who checked us in that evening. The restaurant was surprisingly good (in the U.S. I don't usually go to hotel restaurants). Breakfast offered a nice selection, attractively laid out. The backyard looked like a real backyard - very inviting. They had nice plantings, a tiny chalet as a tool shed, art pieces for garden art, comfortable garden chairs.

We were warmly welcomed despite arriving before normal check in time. Anthony (duty recptionist/manager?) could not have been more helpful. Monique Harivel's 'La Soupiere' restaurant team (notably, Alexis, Celine and Peter) produced and served tasty delicious food for our breakfasts and dinner. Our room was small but perfectly suited to our short stay and in a pleasantly quiet location.

Not all amenities are free, you will have to pay for some toiletteries. There is no elevator if you are carrying a big bag ask for a ground floor room.

The staff are friendly and the room is clean even if a little bit too small.

There was only thing that needs improving. We stayed in room which overlooks the main entrance door. At some time there was a blind or curtains for the window but they were missing although the tracking was still in the ceiling. The exterior shutter fastening was broken. As it was a hot night we wanted to leave the window open but block the light from main entrance. However as there were no blinds or curtains we were not able to do.

The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast, especially the little pancakes. Good value for money.

It advertises as having a restaurant but the night we stayed there it was closed and having already completed a long drive, I then had to drive again to find somewhere to eat.

Bathrooms really need an update. They’re also tiny. The beds are very uncomfortable. The staff led us to believe we could just look at the menu and decide whether we wanted to have dinner there but when we did we were told we had to make a reservation to get dinner although they had only 4 tables occupied. The story doesn’t end there. They said they were taking drink orders outside but never came out for us. We were nice with them though. We even helped a Dutch couple check-in because they couldn’t speak the language. Just had a bad experience there.

They have a small garden in the back with chairs and tables. It’s nice to unwind.
