No WiFi, but as the proprietor explained, that isn't really the hotel's fault. The thick stone walls of the old building made it too difficult to provide an acceptable standard of reception.

An excellent little hotel, a small family run place of the kind that the French can do so well. Everyone very friendly and helpful, but an unexpected bonus was the cuisine. We ate in the courtyard or in the restaurant each night, and found the place busy, probably with locals who knew where the best place to eat was. We've holidayed in Brittany many times, but had never visited Quintin before, and that was a welcome bonus, a clean and pleasant unspoiled small town, we may well be returning, both to the Hotel du Commerce, and to the town itself..

The chance to try the restaurant would have been good, but understandable given the days that we were there

Great place to stay in central Brittany - typical Logis de France hotel with loads of character. Room was very clean, bed very comfortable and bathroom perfectly fine - shower was good We would have liked to eaten in their restaurant but it was closed Sunday night (as advertised) and also didn't open for residents only as planned due to lack of demand from those staying on Bastille Day. This was a shame since it looked really good - recommendation for somewhere to eat from the hotel was very good

We had the best stay of the holiday here. Room was a triple, so lots of space with a private bathroom, all impeccably clean. From the moment we checked in till the moment we left the next day, the staff were wonderful They were very helpful and accommodating and were obviously passionate about the food and wines they sold. Went to the courtyard restaurant at the back of the property, We had the full menu and EVERY. SINGLE. dish was inventive, and amazingly tasty. Wine was excellent, and the owner was a big fan of rum and let us taste some beauties. The couple who run this place can't do enough for guests. Next time we're back in the area, we're definitely staying here. Just 100m down the hill there's a lovely walk round the little lake in the village which was gorgeous in the early morning.

The location is excellent. Right in the town center of Quintin. Very comfortable rooms and bathroom. They let us have the bedroom early to prepare for a wedding.

Charming hotel in an interesting little town

Nothing - we liked it very much although I suppose if you want a smooth corporate-type hotel, it might not suit you.

Very easy to find and lots of free on-street parking nearby. Lovely old building with bags of character. Our room was very big, with a double bed and a single. Lots of storage space and the bathroom was fine. Decor in the room was quite basic but had everything we needed. Free filtered water, to save on plastic bottles, was a nice touch. The owner is friendly and helpful. Didn't take up the option of breakfast but we did have dinner there, which was excellent - French, but with some quirky touches that made it stand out. Quintin is a lovely place for a short visit, with some really interesting bars - we loved it.
