We agree with all the previous comments, everything about Gsand le clos du may is perfect. Everything is thought of, stylish and of high quality, and it is easy and comfortable to relax there. This is all topped off by an amazing, helpful host. We even got to eat grapes grown in the garden. It was a lovely place to stay and we hope to return. Merci Sebastien

This is a wonderful cottage house in the middle of a small paradise, just 10mins away from Chateauroux. Nicely decorated and very efficiently equipped. Room was clean and quiet; bed was very comfy. There is a separated living room with a kitchen Bar and a veranda with access to a beautiful garden. The house is very close to a forest and offers very good opportunities for bike ride and walk. But the best part is the host! Despite my late arrival, Sebastian insisted on welcoming me and during my stay he was always helpful and in great mood. This is 100% Hospitality. If you travel with EV, there are many fast chargers in an 8-10km range. Chateauroux offers many nice cafés and restaurants, but if you love culinary experiences there are several Michelin listed dining places within a 30 min range. Traveling alone, in couple or with family, this is a great place to stay, and I highly recommended it.

Nothing, couldn't have been better!!

It was and exceptional beautiful apartment! Lovely quiet tranquil country surroundings. Comfy bed, luxurious bedding. Beautiful items and art pieces in and around the house. Spotless clean. Large beautiful well maintained garden. Perfect patio for sitting outsite. Welcoming treats, water, coffee and tea. Last but not least, a warm and welcoming host! Merci Sébastien!!!

We liked Everything .The host was not available due to working away but he kept in touch through out our stay and before the stay. He arranged for his mother to meet us with the key and she was amazing so friendly and welcoming. Made to feel at home. We will stay again nothing was too much trouble. Everything you needed was in the gite. We wish we had book longer.

I was staying for the Paralympic World Shooting Para Sport. The location was perfect for me. Not too far from the venue but far enough away to be in the countryside. The owner, Sebastian was very kind, helpful and Welcoming. As a solo 64 ear old female I felt safe and secure at all times 😊 The large tree in the garden was magnificent!

The home was clean and beautifully decorated with some Japanese taste. The garden was excellent. Amenities, interior, fabric are so nice and relaxing. The owner is so kind and made a lot of efforts for us as we arrived there earlier due to the traffic. We literally felt like at home. It was the best stay in France in my life. If you do a road trip and want to rest in countryside, this accommodation is highly recommended.

Nothing at all; everything was perfect - except my getting ill !

Sébastien, the delightful owner, welcomed us at the entrance & showed us around the beautiful gite. He has spared no expense in providing every possible comfort / luxury. Private parking, very well designed gite ( well equipped kitchen, lovely shower, comfy bed…) And he was kindness itself when he found that I was taken to hospital in the morning with the awful respiratory viral infection. He called several times to see if he could help in any way. What a lovely man ! And a lovely gite ! Thank you dear Sebastien ❣️

Nothing to not like about the apartment and property. No idea about the town and surrounds. It was just a one night stopover.

Sébastien was a very friendly and generous host. The apartment was very cosy, clean,well decorated and quiet. A beautiful stopover where my little dog was welcomed just as warmly as we were.

What a great place this is! It is a complete house and really super cozy and decorated with attention. A complete kitchen with even a dishwasher and washing machine, table lamps everywhere and nice home accessories. You even have your own private garden with seating and you can also use the large garden. The spacious bedroom has a wonderful bed and we slept great because it is very quiet. The host Sébastien is a wonderful sweet and warm host. We will definitely come back!

We liked everything!

The owner, Sebastien, was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This is a really lovely property. The kitchen-living room is very spacious with patio doors opening on to a private patio and grassed area with a large timber table and chairs. The bedroom / bathroom is very spacious and includes a large walk-in shower There is a separate en suite toilet. The large bed is very comfortable. High quality linen, towels, furniture, etc. throughout the property. The property is very well equipped. Very safe off-road parking is available directly outside the front door. The wifi, heating and hot water were excellent. The property is pet friendly and our small dog enjoyed his stay and walks in the surrounding area. We will definitely return and we highly recommend this property and its lovely host.

Nothing to dislike

Lovely self contained cottage with attractive decor and lots of very thoughtful touches. Sebastian our host was extremely warm and welcoming and even provided a towel and bowl for our dog and some treats for us. There is direct access to a self contained garden which was great for the dog. Clean, well equipped and very comfortable.

It was a very pleasant stay in the gite of Sébastien. Everything was arranged, the heater was on before arrival and it was and the welcome was very warm. The gite is very well equiped best I met in years.

Nothing it really is perfect in every way

Everything was perfect. The nicest warm welcome from Sebastian, he was so helpful, considerate and friendly The gite has a very good heating system for cold days and nights All the little extras, tea, coffee, chocolates and water. Parking right our side the door. The gite is beautiful, everything is high quality, comfortable and you have everything you could possibly need. Lovely setting and a nice garden to enjoy. Lots of information on the local area We will definitely recommend to friends and family and look forward to staying again next year.
