If you’re tall, avoid the top floor rooms as the showers are quite small and have a low ceiling. Other than that, great value for the price and incredible stay!

Very unusual, but nice layout! Standalone chalet with common sitting area and huge kitchen, uniting 4-6 individual rooms. Perfect for big family!!!

The breakfast was unacceptable. The entire concept seemed to revolve around chocolate, with no actual breakfast menu—just a simple question of whether we wanted eggs. I ordered eggs twice, and both times, they arrived with a hair in them, making them completely inedible. A hotel cannot base its breakfast offering solely on chocolate; there are guests like us who prefer savoury options. Additionally, the pricing for food and drinks was completely out of touch—€22 for a cocktail, and €30 for a club sandwich is excessive. The hotel has great potential, but it definitely needs to improve its menu offerings.

The location was fantastic—just a short walk from the village center, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Additionally, the hotel offers a complimentary driver service, which provided an effortless way to explore the area. The rooms are elegantly designed, with exceptional cleanliness maintained throughout our stay. The spa, though modest in size, offers a relaxing space for a quick dip and unwind.

I had an amazing stay at Grand Hotel Soleil d'or The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail of my visit was perfect. Excellent service and facility. Especially shuttle bus service to Ski Lifts and hospitality of drivers (Concierge) is super comfortable. I visited there for consecutive 3 winters, and no idea to change our hotel in Megeve.

The shower was a little bit tempramental. There were no blinds that could be closed in the shower room. The shower room was overlooked from the next building balcony. Only a net curtain was hanging at the window.

The reception upon arrival and departure was excellent (valet car parking etc.). The room welcome with a personal hand written message was very nicely done. The challet accomodation was great and they had put our friends in the same challet. Super experience

Personnel were really great but wanted to shout out to Fabian the concierge who took away any friction from the trip. He matched me up with a ski instructor and restaurant reservations were lined up perfectly. The property is newly renovated and the rooms are very comfortable.
