If I had to be super critical I would say that the rooms and facilities are basic, but they were perfectly functional and very clean.

Location!! Wow!! Dinner on the terrace is an amazing experience. Right on time edge of the gorge. Fantastic! And access from the room onto another amazing terrace was cool. The staff and service were super.

The property is in a glorious position. The facilities are fine and the food choice limited but very good . The staff were generally helpful although not particularly friendly due to a completer lack of English so our fault too . I staff member was particularly cold and reminded us of a French version of Basil Fawlty 😂

The drive to get there, but then that is why the view when we arrived was magnificent so worth the trade off.

The view from the balcony of the hotel is spectacular. The bed in the room was very comfortable and the bedroom clean. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were good. It was an amazing location.

The view from the dining room and terrace is really amazing. The hotel is a little dated but in a wonderful way, it has a huge amount of charm and the old signs are great. My favourite detail was a toilet roll dispenser with a built in ashtray. The dinner and breakfast also good

A little sprucing up outsite and on the restaurant.

The views are stunning! The staff is so friendly. At first site it looks a little neglected, but the rooms are beautiful! New luxury vinyl floors and a beautiful bathroom. It has a rich history and a host of celebrities including Winston Churchill. The food was very good and homey So enjoyed the conversation with the son of the owner

We loved staying at this hotel. Georges, the owner, was so kind coming to collect us and our bikes from Aiguines, giving us a guided tour on the way back. The view from the terrace was extraordinary and the room was very comfortable. Out of 24 hotels we stayed at on our journey my vegetarian meal here was the best, especially cooked for me and delicious. This hotel is excellent value for money, the staff are very friendly and we recommend it very highly.

The service from the ladies is just like what you could expect in Europe. The gentlemen are better.

As the Chinese say, we felt like we have taken in the essence of the sky and the earth here. Really marvelous and irreplacable view! Especially in the morning.

Not very well signalized, GPS coords were not accurate, thus hard to find. Rooms don't have airco or fans (we had to ask for one and they provided us a small/old fan). Common areas were barely maintained and a bit messy.

A stunning view is definitely the main point for choosing this place to stay. Staff was kind, but not super warmful. Rooms are comfortable, food and breakfast was good. Unless you're planning to have adventure experiences in places closeby, good for a single night stay.

Fabulous location as we cycled along the Gorge du Verdon Watching the vultures, swifts,swallows, falcons, and hawks as we sat eating our dinner on the terrace looking down the gorge Delightful hosts who arranged easy cycle storage for us. Breakfast and dinner included were delicious
