United StatesThere was almost no storage in the room other than a very small closet with one high shelf that was difficult to reach. There were no other shelves or drawers to store clothing. I felt like I was living out of a suitcase which for one night might have been ok, but not great for a 5 night stay.
The staff at the hotel were always very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Although small my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The central location made it easy to reach most sights.

United Kingdom- my first room was on 4th floor, lift not working so had to carry 30kg of luggage down a flight of stairs. The lady who checked me in (I think she sounded English but I cannot remember her name) helped me with my luggage. -first room (41) I got given was the single small room which is what I booked but it was far from clean, dust everywhere (see picture of one example) and not given a detailed clean to a basic hotel standard. Again thankfully to the amazing reception staff they moved me into another room which was spotless (43).
Central to local amenities, hotel staff were welcoming and attentive. Hotel is modern & has great characteristics.

The staff was wonderfully helpful and the location was perfect for exploring Lyon in all directions! The room was a comfortable size and was quiet. A kettle was provided upon request. I was switched to another room when the WiFi was not reaching/working in the room I was upgraded to. The hotel had a very stylish lobby.

United StatesAll old buildings have their little challenges and there were a couple of small things I'd love them to address if possible- the elevator is a godsend but it doesn't quite match the level of the floor, and that is not marked in any way. They probably can't adjust it much, but marking it so people don't catch their toes would be wonderful.

GermanyI only had a 1p room that is supposed to be small, but I hardly had space for my suitcase at all. The bed was probably too old and I was laying in a pit rather than a well supported surface. Also, the decoration of the room was slightly inconvenient (a big picture frame not even 10cm above the bed) and old fashioned (bathroom was a beige that was used 20 years ago).
Loved the entrance, lobby and personnel at the reception. It's a great location and the decoration inside is really nice as well. Breakfast had a lot of options and was of high quality.

SwitzerlandSingle room was extremely small for its price, basically a single bed and that was it. And looking at a wall of the back of the building. Sure it was a single room and the cheapest option, but this kind of room you don't expect to see in a 4-star hotel. Otherwise, the place was fine, but the equipment a bit old and tired.
Service was very good and staff were polite and helpful, lobby seemed a pleasant space. Location is great, close to the metro and Bellecour square, with many options for eating well and having a good coffee, only within minutes of walking.
