The view from the balcony was unbelievable! Luckily the air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well since it was almost 40 degrees! Bruno was so helpful. Great stay. Highly recommend!

Everything was fine. For info, the free street parking outside is shut for 24 hrs over 14 July, but it was easy to park a few streets further out for the duration.

Fantastic location, balcony with amazing view of the medieval citê and a short walk up to entrance. Also next to local restaurants on lively Rue Trivalle and pont vieux for crossing into rest of town. Bruno was a great host, and our firework viewing from balcony a spectacular success.

A wonderfully comfortable apartment in a central location, an easy walk both to the medieval city and the main town, including the canal du midi for boat trips. Bruno is a great host and gave us some great tips for our stay. We have travelled extensively around the world and can honestly say the view from the balcony is in our top 10. Simply magical.

Great apartment in the most amazing location,2 nice bedrooms, dinner each night on the balcony looking at the castle! Bruno was super welcoming and helped us out organising our car hire,. That was really... appreciated by us. You can stroll down rue Truvalle for coffee lunch dinner or r simply an after dinner ice cream, or simply stroll up to the castle. La creperie trivalle were lovely people. The military museum across the road, palais de justice was very french and quaint.. small supermarket takes a bit of finding but worth it. You do not need a car for a weekend, we got it as we left. Take shuttle from airport, taxis non existent, pack light ish as you may need to wheel bags up rue trivalle.overall Bruno makes it a great place to stay!

A couple of minor things, the bedrooms could do with mirrors and waste paper bins, but really minor in such a lovely apartment

The view from the balcony is amazing, exactly like the photos. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge and beds. The location is excellent and central to explore the city on foot. Bruno is very helpful and contactable via WhatsApp. We caught the shuttle bus from Carcassonne airport for 6€, get off at the Cite, walk over the footbridge and up rue Trivalle

The location is superb and easy to access both the town and the medieval city on foot. We enjoyed the view of the castle walls from the balcony. The apartment was perfect for me and my daughter. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bedrooms are a very good size. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our host was very welcoming and easy to contact. He also left us a nice bottle of wine. The location was amazing, having a clear close up view of the castle from the living room and balcony. Very easy to walk to the castle or the old town. The host was very helpful with information and left us a complimentary bottle of wine. Very comfortable stay for our family in a renovated old building.

Wonderful apartment - light, airy, comfortable, everything we needed for 4 nights in Carcassonne. Location could not be better, with a view of the old city, and on a characterful street with lots of restaurants and bars and a little epicerie. Both bedrooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. Bruno, the host/owner, is the best. Made us feel welcome, helpful with information, and was very accommodating about check-in and check-out. We would definitely stay here again. Merci, Bruno!

Climbing the stairs with our suitcases was a bit of a chore.

The location was perfect with just a short walk to either the old or newer town. Having a small grocery shop nearby was also a plus. We were able to park on the street virtually outside the property.

There were only feather pillows available, which aren't good for me.

Bruno met me at the apartment to give me the keys. He showed me everything in the flat, provided a map of the city, and gave me some recommendations. He was very kind and helpful. The location is fabulous, just a 5-minute walk from the walled city, on a lovely street full of boutique shops and cafés. Beautiful view of the old city wall from the balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped, and everything worked perfectly. Comfortable bed.

I couldn’t figure out the shower you need to push in the little button in and go around if you don’t get hot water. (Took my son two minutes to figure that out)

The place is very nice. The apartment is much nicer in person than the pictures. When Bruno gave us the keys he also gave us bottle of wine to drink outside on the balcony and his parking space on the street right outside the door. Kitchen has all the things you need. I thought the place was terrific. This is a perfect place if you want to visit the castle. It’s a wonderful little street with restaurants and a little store for getting eggs and cheese. You can park on the street.

Cannot rate this property and its owner highly enough. Bruno met us there. We had complimentary wine. All info about the locality was provided and Bruno gave additional verbal info. The apartment was spacious and had a wonderful balcony where you can see the castle lit at night. Rue Trivalle has lovely restaurants and you can walk to old or new towns. Bruno gave us a lift to the airport which was so kind and helped enormously. Cannot recommend enough.

Very highly recommended. Amazing location just a few minutes walk from the medieval city, with great restaurants just 100m along the street. Wonderful view of the castle from the balcony, and the apartment is spacious and well equipped. Air conditioners in each bedroom were a very welcome bonus on a hot few days (and would be great using the heat function in the winter too). Bruno our host was super friendly and responsive to messages, and gave us excellent recommendations of places to go in the area.

Location is perfect , view of the castle from the balcony , free on street parking and if that's full , a public car park three minutes away. Close to all restaurants. Very clean and functional apartment. Bruno was happy to answer any questions and great communication.
