I can’t fault them on an exceptional experience and start to our journey on Corsica (Ai Assisted)

The location is excellent, from all aspects, especially if don’t want the madness of tourists! The service was exceptional, and met our needs completely. We would definitely return and would have no hesitation in referring this hotel to travellers starting there journey in the north and driving south.

Very little to dislike, a great hotel. Perhaps - The bed is located right next to door and corridor, and this be an issue if you are a light sleeper.

Amazing location inside old part of the fort, central in old town, quiet, gratious and servise minded hosts, nice food, great pool area, nice view, own parking. As a whole it was a Very nice experience.

Beautiful location in bonifacio. The view from the pool deck is quite exceptional. The staff were lovely, delicious breakfast and the room very comfortable.

Only comment would be the steps to the hotel proper - lots of them!

The location of the annex was great, with views of the yachts. Room was spacious and clean. Close proximity to shops and restaurants. Hotel proper is fabulous with a great pool and stunning views. Loved the old town.

The hotel is situated at the same level as the old citadel. Fantastic view and literally 400 meters from the ferry port. The hotel restaurant was fantastic in presentation, food quality, and staff hospitality. We would visit here again.

The only minor problem was the distance between the apartment and the main hotel complex. It could be done on foot, via many steps in about 15 minutes. The other method was to drive the car up and down, not green practice nor permitting the driver to drink alcohol. Also the drive could take 10 minutes as it was a circuitous route. BUT we were warned of this when booking so it was our choice. We would do it again, no problem, but the walk requires a degree of fitness.

We had an apartment which was based on the Marina side below the full hotel. We still had access to the full hotel amenities, restaurant, swimming pool and Spa, and parking. The apartment was on the third floor and provided exceptional views of the marina basin and the numerous extremely expensive craft using it. The hotel provided free off road parking both at the apartment and at the hotel site. The apartment itself was spacious and we could not decide whether it was a king or queen sized bed. The nearest restaurant was next door and even though being on the water front it was not at all noisy at night time.

Strangely the bar had very short opening times, so great for a pre-dinner aperitif, but appeared closed when returning later in the evening and did not appear open during the day if you wanted a cool drink by the pool. But in the scheme of things only a minor irritation.

Excellently located on the sea front with spectacular views, this was a very relaxing hotel to stay at. Our room was well proportioned and extremely comfortable with good all round facilities. A very good sized pool and with a good breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea.

Housekeeping services were not completed to our room on the 3rd day of our stay. We noticed when we returned from a day's outing (when we got to our room the door was wide open, with the key inserted in the lock. The bed had been made up but the rest of the room had not been refreshed) and mentioned it to staff there before we went out for dinner, but were disappointed that the job had still not been completed when we returned for the evening. Not fresh towels, unemptied trash in waste cans and dirty glasses still in the room. By this time it was too late to have anything done about it. We were leaving the next day. Otherwise everything was very nice.

As we stayed in the annex It would have been helpful to receive an email with full explanation of the parking, codes, check-in and check-out. The property is great and we would stay again but found the four keys and openers for the gates to be overly complicated. There was also difficulty when we arrived at the main hotel as we couldn’t find parking and weren’t given the code to enter the parking lot.

Great location right on the Marina in Bonifacio.

The hotel is a little way out of Porto Rotondo and (expensive) taxi is the only reliable way to get into town. This is not a problem if you have a car or are happy just to hang around in the hotel. The one gripe is the wine list: only Sardinian wine which is not to everyone's taste.

Charming hotel with a beautiful outdoor area (including pristine pool) and gorgeous views. Rooms were comfortable and quiet with some nice touches re decor. The staff were universally excellent: friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was very, very good.

Communication ahead of a wedding: I booked 5 months out and they gave me a weeks' notice that I would be unable to use the pool one day. That's not good enough. We did eventually get a free bottle of wine and massage as compensation but that required significant back and forth.
