Netherlands- I believe we got unlucky with high season pricing, but this property was not worth the nightly fee we paid, nor did we feel that the service was 5 stars, maybe 4? - We arrived after the check-in time and having provided our arrival time in advance, but the room still wasn't ready for over 30 mins - While we appreciated the gesture, a bag of gummy sweets for a 13 month old (age provided in advance) was not an appropriate welcome gift in the room - On check-out, we realized we were given the wrong price for the (already expensive) breakfast by the reception staff at check-in. The breakfast food and service are good, but EUR70 for breakfast for two people isn't worth it - A charge for parking in their relatively spacious on-site lot also seems quite unnecessary Overall, the value for money simply wasn't there.
- Absolutely beautiful property and really great location, just a short walk from Blois' town center, with amazing views as you cross the bridge - Lovely facilities (incl. indoor pool, jacuzzi, beautiful bar, outdoor pool), and quite enjoyable if you managed to go during quiet moments with less people around - Friendly and helpful staff, especially in the spa! - Breakfast was delicious and the staff there were very attentive

ItalyMaybe because of the pic season of our stay, the housekeeping team was overwhelmed, and was not able to do the full room refreshing (also with our dog in the room, the cleaning schedules were messed-up). A little more relaxed attitude of some of the staff, could make the hitel spirit less "formal". Not easy to find the right fine tunning.
Beautiful hotel and garden, with amazing gastronomic and fine dining restaurants. Voituriers, bar, garden and concierge service were providing exceptional service. Christophe Hay restaurant was very sophisticated. Breakfast at L'Amour Blanc was the best ever. Great to have a swimming and spa to relax at the end of the day.

Loved the breakfast, loved the outdoor bar area, our room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. The shower was awesome and so was the king sized bed.

FinlandHad a small hickup with my deposit being used to cover the room service charge, as the receptionis wanted to make and extra charge and not use the witheld deposit for the payment, but as I declined of conducting in this matter the issue was essentionally resolved so no harm done :)
The hotel was up to the highest standards regarding service! The room was spectaculous and especially I appriciated the valet parking inside the hotels garage!

GermanyThe Fleur de Loire is a truly amazing 5-star hotel located on the banks of the river with a beautiful view of the historic city of Blois. The entire hotel is well maintained and you will not miss any amenity in the hotel room. While the breakfast was fresh but a bit limited for our tastes, the hotel's restaurants are highly recommended. Both are an event in themselves. In addition, the hotel's spa is a very cozy place, with a large indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam, as well as many beauty treatments. It is conveniently located for trips to nearby castles if you drive, and is popular with cyclists who take a tour along the Loire.
