Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The beds were clean and comfortable. The access from central Paris was good via local metro. Plenty of local shops and cafes. The downside was the old spiral staircase up to the third floor. Difficult for a young 5 yr old and 2 octogenarians. The oven part of the cooker was not working and the streets were very noisy overnight.

Irelandits the smell from the toilet and just when you arrived take a picture of the apartment and report to the staff anything that is broken. they should removed the images of the gym, its misleading

UkraineWe must inform you that on the last night two robbers broke into our apartment number 23. it was around 2:00 - 2:30 am. one stood at the entrance smoking, the second went into his sister’s bedroom and began rummaging through the bags. my sister woke up and screamed. the robbers got scared and ran away. in the morning we saw traces of a master key on the lock and torn wires outside. attaching photo

I went in the office to pick up keys and when I walked in, there were 3 people at their desk, no one said anything nor did they greet me until after a while of me standing there in awkward moment. I asked about the sauna (which they advertise as well as a gym) and the young lady said I had to go between the hours of 9am-6pm. (Also, they didn’t mention that these amenities are at another building. The pictures you see here of the gym, sauna and steam room are of a newer building) …The next day I asked to use it and they said I needed to reserve it 24 hours in advance. I asked for two days with 24 hours of anticipation and I got ignored. A day later someone wrote to me and asked if I still wanted a reservation for the next day and I said yes. I asked why I hadn’t been able to use the facilities and they said it’s because both gym and sauna were fully booked. I was granted 1 day out of my 4 night stay. The next day, 20 minutes before my scheduled time I get a message saying the person I spoke to didn’t notify staff so the facilities were again, fully booked. They asked if I wanted another time slot and when I asked what times were free I got an automatic message saying they were closed on that day and to email them. The pictures on here are not all accurate. There’s no gym/sauna, the building is old, the room is on a 3rd floor with no elevator. When my mother undid the bed a piece of carrot fell out of the sheets, there was hair in the sheets, there were no cooking utensils only pots and silverware. No salt, pepper oil or toiletries (shampoo or soap) in the restroom. We were given two rolls of toilet paper, one was a half used roll (we were 5 adults). The shower was grimy and on top of all that they charge guests to store luggage. This place does not care at all about it’s guest. They want people in and out and as long as they have your money they don’t care if you’re comfortable or not.

Canadathe unit required walking up 3 flights of spiral stairs. no hand soap was provided and not enough dishes and mugs for more than 4 people. the windows were thin so it was very loud from the street at night.
we liked the location being central and close proximity to the city center. it was a good size with two bedrooms.
