Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Excellent welcome Clean and stylish Really thoughtful staff. I saw the gentleman who was serving at breakfast today really delight a child at breakfast time and he was lovely with my son.

United KingdomEverything was really nice, zero complaints, only a recommendation, if you can create a gym space in one of the rooms, it will be an additional incentive for customers to book your hotel.
The location is amazing, the hotel is new with nice facilities and comfortable rooms. The swimming pool was fantastic to relax after a long day out! Everything well planned for the hotel and effort put into it.

United StatesThe bartender didn't really know how to make drinks. Also she told us they only had one corona style beer when apparently there were several available. The breakfast is pretty good but too expensive (20 euro). You can go to a cafe or there's a coffee bar with baked goods in the hotel right behind this hotel, and you'll spend half that. Room is a little small, but that's what we expected for Paris.
The design of this hotel and cleanliness are absolutely stunning. The pool room was beautiful -- much nicer than it needed to be. Good value considering you are in the heart of Paris. Very friendly staff.

United StatesThe location around the hotel was not ideal. It was a little far from everything, and not a lot of restaurant options close by. Everything is about a 10-15 minute walk.
The pool was the highlight and the reason we booked the property! Our kids loved it and it was so nice to hang out in the pool after a long day of sight seeing. The rooms are nicely appointed, but not luxurious, but clean, neat, and comfortable with everything you need. We were on the 2nd floor and I was worried about noise, but it was very quiet even with the street under construction in front.

CanadaThe only knock on this place is that there wasn’t many great restaurants near. Lots of very average and consistent spaces, but not a lot going on around it, but maybe we didn’t venture far enough. Also, most of the bigger tourist stops are on the other side of the river, so it felt like we were finding transport lots.
Great hotel, small but comfortable and modern/clean rooms. The pool was great after days out in Paris. I would recommend this hotel as it has lots of upside.

United StatesOur rooms were clean, spacious and nice. The toilets were clean, update and nice. We would’ve liked a better view of the city from our rooms. What we could see were other rooms. That was the only thing I didn’t like. However, we didn’t stay in our rooms that long for us to worry about the view.
1. We liked the friendly staff. When we first came into the hotel, we were greeted by two warm and friendly ladies. Their names were Leila and Ivlucq. They provided me and my family with all the information necessary to make our stay in Paris really great. They even helped me to make copies of our passport photos and helped put them on our Navigo Passes. Thank You Leila and Ivlucq for all your help. We appreciate it 2. The location of the hotel was awesome. It was close to bus stops, the metro, restaurants, a grocery store, bookstores and within walking distance to the Pantheon and Notre Dame. 3. The hotel itself was very clean and like new. The rooms were spacious, clean and updated , and so were the toilets. 4. The pool was great too. 5. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so we cannot comment on that. All in all, we had a great stay at this hotel, and our trip to Paris was awesome and very memorable.

AustraliaThere is no restaurant and therefore no room service which is a shame as it would have simplified our stay with the kids in the evening. The breakfast was a little basic, for the price of 20 euros, there could have been more options and a proper coffee (not a machine). But it was not bad either and we were offered a cook-to-order omelette which was simple but actually very tasty. Plus the breakfast staff member Anna was just amazing.
Very nice and tastefully decorated hotel with a fantastic large pool. Nothing was a problem for the staff, they were all fantastic, from the reception to the breakfast staff. Perfect location, we walked pretty much everywhere. I was very happy we chose this hotel.

United KingdomThe bath and shower a bit small which was fine for us but might have been more difficult for someone tall. I think that was just in the top floor room though as the bathroom was tucked into the roof.

AustraliaRoom was a bit on the small side and there are no drawers or cupboards to put clothes away. Hairdryer was too hard to use. You have to pay for more bottled water which I think should be provided for free. Tap water didn’t taste great, even after boiling. Breakfast staff were really lovely but the self service options were a bit basic. Coffee was from an automatic machine whereas I would have preferred to pay extra for a decent barista coffee. They had a professional set up in the bar but I didn’t see anyone use it.
The hotel is on a quiet street and is clean and stylish. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pool & sauna facilities are lovely after a long day of sightseeing.

United StatesWe enjoyed three nights at Hotel Grand Coeur Latin. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was great as it was near restaurants and Luxembourg Gardens. The room was quite nice, as was the lounge. I rarely swim in hotel pools but this one was too nice to pass up. It was a lovely way to relax after busy days in Paris!
