Generally everything was fantastic and there was nothing not to like, if we were being picky the shower head needs replacing as it’s was too heavy for the holder and kept falling down. The mosquito net needs fixing but we were able to wedge it with paper so it stayed down. These issues did not spoil our stay at all.

The location was amazing, room was comfortable, appreciated the fan as it was a heat wave. The bar area and terrace was gorgeous and looked out onto the river. The staff were really friendly and gave good advice. We also enjoyed kayaking down the river.

By the river, the location couldn’t be better and the owners, James & Chris, are always so welcoming. That was our third visit -our fav French stopover en route between our homes in UK & Spain.

Chris and James could not be anymore helpful, the location is beautiful and close to the river, so peaceful and relaxing. Rooms stay cool even in the 35 degrees. Food in the restaurant was beautifully prepared

Its a B and B, not a hotel, they have to comply with strict laws in France so they had to shut during the day, no chance of a coffee.

Only minor things: there was a shampoo in tiny bottles but no hand soap. The shower did not have a holder for soap or shampoo.

Having to go home , we wanted to stay for longer!

We had a fantastic time. James and Chris helped booked some local restaurants which were perfect . They are fantastic hosts and were very helpful with anything we needed. The setting was perfect , such a beautiful and tranquil location . We were there for our 30th wedding anniversary and felt very looked after! On our last night we had dinner over looking the Dordogne and they treated us to a glass of fizz, such a lovely and thoughtful touch . We would highly recommend a stay here , it was just what was needed to de stress.

Absolutely nothing.

The main attraction for this property is the staff - Chris and James are fantastic hosts who went out of their way to make sure our short stay was as fabulous as possible. Their attention to detail was superb, from the moment we arrived to our departure. The restaurant area is lovely, especially the covered terrace area overlooking the Dordogne river. Food was excellent - great portions and value for money. They even brew their own beer on the premises (tried two, both delicious)! The room was very spacious, super clean and extremely comfortable bed & pillows and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

There was nothing not to like but a tv would have been nice in our room and maybe a kettle as we had a bit of bad weather during our stay as it was April.

The location overlooking the Dordogne was amazing. The rooms were modern and clean and the beds were very comfortable and bedding was super soft! Had the best nights sleep! James and Chris are amazing hosts and so welcoming. Food was great as was the wine and hospitality. Ben the golden retriever was the best meet and great host and was a wonderful addition to the stay. We will definitely return.

The location is great! The micro-brewery beers are excellent. The Owners and staff are very attentive and made our stay very enjoyable.
