Nice rooms, super large bed and our bathroom was beautiful! A super cozy place with a great view to the fortress from the roof balcony. The host was by far the best english speaker we met on our entire trip. I can’t say that she will be able to do this for everyone, but she upgraded our room before we arrived. Super kind and sweat lady!

The room was very nice and the building is very characterful. The bed in our room was massive and very comfortable. We enjoyed staying here very much.It is a lovely place to stay. Unfortunately on the day of our arrival we were delayed and arrived much later than expected but Catherine was very accommodating and it was not a problem. Catherine was a great host, really friendly and helpful. She also made nice crêpes, croissants and coffee which was a delightful way to start each morning!

We had to search for plugs and the WiFi was poor.

Fab shower, comfy bed. We loved the roof terrace and space for sitting in the loft and use of a fridge. Catherine was a wonderful host and gave us a delicious breakfast. Location was great too, near the old castle and the newer city.

I recommend Entre Bastide et Cite 100 %. Beautiful bilding, the room very clean, comfortable, the view from the top roof was amazing. You could see the walls of the medieval city. Very beautiful place. The center of the city and the castle are only 15-20 minutes walking. And the lady of the house, Catherine, was very nice, very helpful and she gave me a little gift, a cactus. Thank you again, Catherine.

Everything was great.

The breakfast included pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt and was served in the shade of the backyard. The rooms are nicely decorated and include AC units. The location is convenient as it is a 15-minute walk to the fortress of Carcassonne but also just 10 minutes to the pedestrian area of the city.

The location is fabulous - easy walking distance to the Cité and the Bastide, and a great view of the medieval city from the roof terrace, whilst being away from all the people in a quiet street. We had to leave very early for our flight and Catherine kindly left us out some fruit and pastry as we were too early for breakfast.

Catherine is wonderfully nice and welcoming. She is extremely friendly and helpful if you need any advices or recommendations about visits and activities in the area. Catherine's house is very cozy and pretty, and all areas are clean. There is also a terrace on the roof with an overwhelming view of Carcassonne's castle. The room and the bathroom were clean, big and tastefully furnished. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with homemade pancakes and marmelades. The building is located in a strategic spot, around 15 minutes walking distance from both the city center and the castle. Recommended!

Catherine's guesthouse is so comfortable and welcoming. Catherine herself is very kind and friendly and on hand with great recommendations and to assist with booking taxis to the airport. Perfectly located between the castle and newer part of town.

Somewhat dated and run down.

Wonderful older building with a wonderful host. Breakfast was very good. Reasonably easy to visit downtown and the Citadel. Host was very helpful and gave us access to the terrace on the rooftop for viewing the Citadel.

Excellent Location. View of the castle from the rooftop is spectacular. Catherine let us know right away about the Olympic Flame passing through Carcassonne on the way to Paris while we were there. The bed was. Very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Highly recommend.

It is a very charming old house conveniently located halfway between the two areas of interest in Carcassonne. Nice rooftop terrace from where you can see the whole old town.The breakfast was amazing, everything homemade. Very nice and welcoming host.

The hostess hung-up our wet washing to dry & returned it folded! The hostess booked us a taxi to the airport and then chased the company up when it was running late to ensure that it turned up!
