Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location was great - walking distance to the grotto There is room for improvement for breakfast - these could be a fried breakfast? boiled egg, fried egg scramble egg, fruit bowl, cereals, fresh bread with butter and jam, etc.... There was a shortage of workers but the owners were very good and try to please the customers.

FinlandIt was a super cold room and beddings, even I keep the heater running all the time. The acoustic wall didn't work well. I can hear the sound from the corridor and loud music from nextdoor hotels.
Convenient location, nearby attractions I wish to visit, nice restaurant downtown and match with my taste.

MaltaOur stay at this hotel had its challenges. There were no clear instructions for check-in, and we only found out by chance that it was handled at the restaurant’s reception. The lift was out of order, so we had to carry our luggage up to the 5th floor, which was exhausting, especially in the heat, and our room didn’t have air conditioning. After two days, the weather turned cold, but no extra blankets were provided, leaving us uncomfortable at night. On the plus side, the location was convenient, close to the train station and the sanctuary. We hope the hotel improves these issues for future guests.
