*One Downside*: The only downside to our stay was the noise from upstairs. As we were in room 15, we could hear footsteps from above, and unfortunately, one of our neighbors was quite active from 1am to 3am. This was a bit of a disturbance, but it didn't detract from the overall value and convenience of the hotel.

*Excellent Location, Great Service* We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, primarily due to its incredible location. Securing one of the limited parking spaces was a bonus, making our stay even more convenient. *Customer Service*: The customer service was outstanding - the best we've experienced in St Malo. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. *Rooms*: While the rooms may not be fancy, the beds were comfortable, and for the price, we felt it was good value. It's clear that the hotel prioritizes functionality and convenience over luxury.

While my overall stay was pleasant, I did notice that the stair carpet could benefit from some attention. It appeared quite worn, which detracted slightly from the overall impression of the hotel. A refresh here would really elevate the guest experience and match the standards seen elsewhere in the property.

Great location. the staff were lovely. As a centrally located hotel, it’s wonderfully convenient for exploring the area. That said, it’s worth noting that the outside noise can be noticeable at night. This was to be expected for any hotel inside the city walls, so light sleepers might want to come prepared with their earplugs!

The hotel is old, including some facilities, such as a lift. During our 4-day stay, it was too noisy during nights due to the cars, drunk people, deliverers, etc.

The size of the room is reasonable for 3* and the hotel location is convenient for local restaurants, shops, beach, and a ferry to the UK. The personal is outstanding and very polite.

We know this area well so knew location... Great location inside the walls 3 mins walk to all the restaurants etc but still quiet which was good.. We only stayed one night.. Staff were excellent on check in.. Room lovely and clean.. Bathrooms also clean.. Its small but all these buildings are small which I like and part of the charm... Didn't sample breakfast as we prefer to eat out watching what's going on around...

It was hot in our room and noisy from the seagulls outside. The room was good value but we would have found it a little small had we stayed more than one night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good for an overnight stay. The hotel is very well situated. We enjoyed breakfast a lot.We would definitely stay there again.

The toilet was in a separate room from the main bathroom (this wasn’t a problem) but the room was tiny and there was almost no space to open the door. Fortunately neither of us is overweight, but we do have friends who would have had difficulty using the facility.

The staff were lovely, the room was a good size and had everything we needed, and the location was great. We thought it was good value.

The room was hot so we used the fan provided. This meant we left the window open which let the noise in at night - loud groups out partying and bins being moved early. Would be very uncomfortable if any warmer (was around 20 degrees)

Great location in the walled town. Very historic building, respectfully renovated. Reasonable price when compared to other hotels within the walls.

The toilet in the bedroom was tiny. Quite a large bathroom so would be better to combine the 2 rooms. The room was in the hotel annexe which was fine but the room was on the first floor with no lift and the receptionist did not offer to take my case which I felt was bad. No air conditioning so opened windows but seagulls were very noisy.

Very good breakfast in the old cellar of the hotel accessible by lift. No staff in attendance so just help yourself

Excellent play to stay marred by extremely loud night club opposite (and lift breaking down).

I would have given a higher rating but for two issues. Firstly the hotel is situated opposite a night club which played music at extremely high volume (for a large part with their front doors open) until 4am every night and there was also loud shouting up to and after this time. When we visited, there was a two day heatwave (mid 30Cs by day over 20C by night) and no air con so we had to have the windows at least partly open meaning the noise was even worse than it might have been with all the windows closed however it was still loud and audible when we temporarily closed them. The second issue was that the lift broke down and wasn't working for the last two days of our stay (on the fourth floor) which meant a particularly hard climb given the heat.

Central location inside the beautiful walled city of St Malo. Pleasant staff. Comfortable small to medium-sized bedroom

The corridors are very narrow and a bit hard to navigate with luggage.

Staff is very friendly. Location is great and there is a parking lot 5m accross the hotel entrance, for short stay allowing to drop luggage.
