We were on second floor and I don't think there is a lift - stairs not a problem for us but check if you have mobility issues.

Fantastic location overlooking the lake, very friendly and helpful staff. Room 18 was fairly simple but comfortable with a small balcony overlooking the lake which was great. The restaurant was good for dinner and breakfasts were excellent. We met other guests who stay in winter as well as summer, and we would definitely go back. Lake is very popular for swimming and paddleboarding (rental available), with a lovely walk round it and up to a nearby waterfall.

Very noisy into the night. There is a hall between the hotel and the lake that holds functions which go on until 2-3am in the morning. Deliveries to the hotel start very early too.

Beautiful location, welcoming and friendly staff creating a lovely vibe. Excellent restaurant and a very substantial continental breakfast buffet.

It would have been lovely if the hotel provided beach towels for the lake but it is certainly not a deal breaker.

The location is amazing. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The hotel curates its own shower get / hand soap collection which is absolutely gorgeous! I bought a shower gel and would have bought plenty more if stock had allowed for it.

Fabulous location and setting. Breakfast was great and plentiful. We stayed for dinner on a few evenings, the meals were better quality and better priced than down in the town. The family room we had, overlooked the lake and really was lovely. All of the staff were super friendly. Really nice people! We had a car and it was nice and easy to drive up to the Ardent lift with free parking or down to Morzine for skiing or for dinner.

Genuinely nothing - loved it!

Very homely, in particular the lounge by the bar. Staff were great; good and drinks awesome; and so close to the ardent lift making for great skiing without major queues as we could get up and out before the masses - even at half term. Game changer!!!

Small room, ski buses are very unreliable and overcrowded

We like the place, but you should consider price quality ratio as rooms are very basic, simple and small, to get to ski room you have cross the steeet. Also, the breakfast was very primitive and 100% the same all the days. Ski bus stop nearby, and it takes just 7 mins to ski lift.

We just stayed for one night and there was a car race on the day we wanted to leave that we didn’t know about and nobody informed us so it was quite a surprise when we learned that we couldn’t leave before 3 pm the next day and the only thing they offered us was to pay for a late check out, so that we could stay till 12. Of course we could have informed ourselves better, but we were just planning to stay there for the night.

The food was delicious and the nature around quite beautiful.

There is a loud speaker on the terrace, that amplifies the music from the restaurant, nonstop. It is a nuisance for the rooms, facing the Lake, as the sounds propagate far next to water. Management could be more considerate, in reducing the time when this loud speaker is on to the lunch time, allowing the guests to enjoy the quiet hours in their rooms.

The room was a bit smaller than expected from the photos. We had a room with mezzanine floor and although the beds were comfy there was very little storage space. The shower didn’t drain very well so by the time the 3rd person went in, water would be spilling out onto the bathroom floor. The room wasn’t cleaned during our stay (8 nights) other than beds being made and it took a couple of days of asking to get more toilet rolls but other than that, the location more than made up for any small niggles.

We loved the fantastic location of this hotel, right on the beautiful Lac du Montriond. We were lucky enough to have a balcony looking out on the lake. Staff were helpful (particularly the mountain biking lady) and there was a nice chilled out vibe at the bar and on the terrace. Our stay coincided with the Fete Lac du Montriond which was fantastic and included a spectacular fireworks display on the lake and live music.
