Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomNo internet in the rooms and fairly flaky downstairs. Room very dusty but gave it a quick flick and was ok. Shared toilet alternative also potentially shared one down corridor standing in a pool of water past a lurking dead plant and no lights. Luckily phone has a torch useful for unlocking bedroom door and going to the loo. No book shelf with books to borrow given no internet or TV would be useful. Very very basic and very expensive for what is on offer, think shed not Chateau.
Peaceful place in beautiful countryside miles from anywhere down tiny little lanes. Platter of cheese delicious although their dog licked it then ate half of it. Wine was ok although host very limited knowledge about wine seemed suprised I even wanted any, and i'm in France the home of amazing wine. Breakfast was delicious, huge croissants, bread and wonderful jam

FranceEverything was good. The only thing I would not have liked if I had had a big suitcase is the tiny staircase, this hotel doesn't have lifts. But this is unimportant for me. I prefer hotels with personality.
I randomly chose this hôtel as I needed to be close to the station. This hotel is lovely, my room was cosy and I felt at home. It was a delight as I was feeling very tired after a lot of traveling. The bathroom was large with a nice shower. This hotel is much better than a standardised chain hotel. I slept very well, the bed was good. As a bonus you ll have a view on the chateau. It is a very convenient hotel for tourists as well.

United KingdomThere was no wall or door separating the bathroom from the bedroom, but just a curtain. Considering that the toilet is barely 2 meters far from the bed, and that the bathroom has no window or fan system, it has been pretty an awkward and embarrassing experience that we hope never repeat again. Besides this, there is no soundproofing, we could hear all types of noises from the other rooms, including people snoring at night.
