The rooms are very small and the hotel is very dated, it needs some updating especially outside.

The hotel is very nice, parking was very easy and the breakfast was better than we expected. The view from our terrace was very nice.

The carpet was stained. The furniture was chipped. The jacuzzi was out of order on the last day. The Restaurabt was honestly very poor and expensive. We will be coming again but will never eat in the restaurant again

We enjoyed the pool and sauna and found the facilities to be great. There was a nice bar area, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The views from the terraces are beautiful. The breakfast was very nice and the service great. There is secure parking available and you are right on the lake, so everything in Bagnoles is walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Ridiculous amount of steps from the car park at rear of hotel. I had said I was unable to manage stairs in the booking!! We finally managed to persuade the unhelpful receptionist to let us park at the front. The disabled parking spot was unavailable because the builders were parking there who were important than us according to the receptionist! The balcony needed a good wash and a coat of paint.

Disappointing to find paper cups in rooms rather than glasses or cups, not even plastic ones. This is surprising in a hotel of this quality. Also found the bar to be closed at lunch time.

Rooms have been redecorated since our visit last year, big improvement. Pool spa etc enjoyed. Excellent parking and resaurant for dinner.

We would have liked more tea, coffee and milk in our room plus a few bisquits. Disappointed with the restricted meal menu’s both Christmas eve dinner and christmas day lunch. Just one set meal, take it or leave it!! The breakfast menue was very sparse with a limited choice for the price paid!

The pool was brilliant, just what we needed! Our room was cosy and comfortable with enough heating to dry swimsuits over night!

Evening meal in restaurant. Complicated to understand and not enough choice. Often luke warm and a long wait to be served and in between courses.

No shower attachment to the wall so had to hold the shower which means spraying water everywhere and is rather clumsy. Wife quality was ok but every single time you left the site it logged out and so, every time you next wanted to use either your phone or laptop you had to log back on: extremely annoying. Breakfast was not especially good and was understaffed so plates not promptly cleared and the two staff present were thoroughly hassled. For a hotel with such a site in a spa town, the ambience is a bit tired and extremely functional.

Nothing really apart from the weather which was wet.

Excellent room with view from our balcony overlooking the lake. Very comfortable and clean with lovely bathroom. The hotel had a spa but we did not use owing to a one nigh stay. Evening meal was very good and breakfast fine but a little disappointing. Plenty of secure parking at rear of hotel and only a short walk into the town sightseeing.
