This is the place to be! A wonderful site with a lot of history between Blois and Orleans, next to Beaugeancy. The place provides for all amenities and services for a great stay. This goes from spacious and comfortable rooms to a delicious breakfast with local products and a wonderful pool. The hosts are remarkable. We loved it and we‘ll come back!

We should have stayed an extra day, next time for sure!

We had such a wonderful time at the Domaine! Laurent made us feel like royalty. From the fascinating historical warm welcome he gave us upon our arrival to the delicious breakfast we were served the next morning, mainly homemade and organic. The property and the pool are also impeccable, really well maintained.

A bonus would be airconditioning, but for us it was oké because we could sleep with the window open because there was a Muscito net for the window which was great

Everything was great

The grounds are beautiful and so well looked after. We loved sitting in the garden. The pool was also great and Laurent made an effort to warm it for us although it was the beginning of May. Breakfast was great and Laurent was a wonderful host, with many helpful tips on places to visit.

I booked Domaine de Montizeau as a practical place to break a long car journey driving down through France, but now I've discovered this little gem will be sure to return for a longer stay. Laurent was a wonderful host, welcoming us in on our arrival and happy to point us in the direction of the nearby and very pretty medieval town of Beaugency for our evening meal. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, with communal access to a charming living room and kitchen which were you staying for a while would be so useful for making drinks and picnics, reading the paper or playing board games. The all-inclusive breakfast was délicieux, a generous table laden with French pastries, cheese and charcuterie and yummy little homemade treats. The rooms open directly on to the beautiful garden and grounds, all close to the driveway & private parking drive which was perfect for my parents as their room was easily accessible with no difficult stairs. Hope to be back soon!

Wonderful B&B with a huge garden and pool. Very comfortable rooms with interior that is thought through from start to end. Excellent breakfast, it's also possible to pre-order dinner. Very quiet area, at night you may only hear some animals from the nearby forest or fields.

We had a wonderful stay and felt very spoilt by Laurent. The garden is gorgeous, big and right next to the forest which makes it very quiet and authentic. The bed was extremely comfortable and with such a high quality beddings that we slept better than usual. You have access to a shared kitchen which was helpful to use at anytime. We don’t live in France yet we certainly want to come back here for this memorable experience. Thank you Laurent for this amazing experience!

What a beautiful location. There is a whole history, which the host is happy to fill you in on, yet everything looks and feels completely new in a fantastic setting. The rooms were clean and comfy. The beds were magnificent and the host was phenomenal. I dare anyone to find a more friendly, care and enthusiastic host in the whole of France!
