We stayed in a ground floor room, it was spacious, modern and very comfortable. There are kitchen facilities for guests to use & the breakfast provided was very good. The grounds are stunning, sadly the weather wasn't good for our stay so we were unable to use the pool but very much enjoyed walking around the property. We had a lovely time & left feeling very relaxed.

We had a brilliant stay here at Domaine de la Jarrige. We were extremely well looked after from the moment we arrived. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully designed, and the host cooked us a wonderful meal for all the guests, with a great atmosphere. A fantastic, serene place to stay.

The local town did not offer much but the location of the house and all of its offerings (gardens, lovely food, swimming pool, games for children more that compensated for the lack of town amenities.

Christoff was a superb host. Very considerate and helpful. The setting of the house was beautiful with lovely gardens. The surrounding countryside was idyllic.

No airco, it was rather hot upstairs in the loft. Fortunately there were no mosquitoes so we could open the windows at night.

Beautiful property which is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. As a family of 5 we were perfectly accommodated, which is rare in France as they class a family as 2 adults and 2 children! The pool, although we didn’t get into it, looked very nice and clean. It was so quiet with no road noise. The bed was very comfortable and although no a/c it was aired before we got there so room was nice and cool. The breakfast was delicious and the owner was just fantastic, kind and super helpful.

A small but classy and cosy room with an upstairs bathroom; it took us a while to get used to the steep stairs!

An absolute gem of a place! Beautifully and tastefully created in a peaceful natural setting with very little traffic noise, with a caring host. The bonus was the very welcome pool, and a good breakfast with local breads and produce. We were genuinely sad we couldn't stay longer.

Everything. wonderful garden to enjoy a drink, phenomenal breakfast and the room was equipped with everything you’d need. the only reason I didn’t give this a 10 is that it is a bit of a distance from anywhere but it is so quite and quaint you’re assured of a wonderful stay

We had such a lovely stay here - we loved it so much we stayed for 2 weeks - The staff were so helpful - The Gite was perfect furnished to a high standard quirky and very comfortable - we loved the out door pool and there was a large long table outside for communal eating if you so wished - You also have your own private area with table chairs & bbq. We will be back!

...the hidden charges for extra cleaning and then the standing firm and not paying them. I accepted the dog charges...€15 per night as they are flagged up in the Booking.com protocol but the Final Cleaning charge of €50 for the 2 nights!! was not. I only got to hear of this AFTER CONFIRMING THE BOOKING in the form of a message directly from the accomodation informing me that unless we cleaned the apartment after use there would be a €40 cleaning surcharge....yes €40 at that stage!!...went up. So we cleaned up really well assuming that we had been given a choice....either clean the apartment or pay extra. This is most off colour in my opinion. Firstly shouldn't the price quoted on Booking.com include cleaning between customers?? We invited the proprietor to inspect our cleaning as I did not intend to pay the extra. They had automatically added it to our bill so I suppose they were expecting us to pay.They stated the apartment needed to be ready for the next customers...wrong..so very wrong!! Secondly shouldn't cleaning between customers be done by the people responsible for the safety of the customers and not by some random guests previously in the apartment?? Standards?? Thirdly if the proprietors find it is too much extra work to rent out by the day they should not sell in this manner...or if they do wish to sell this way to fix a price more in keeping with the extra work...simples. We were there for 2 days. I did not appreciate leaving with a sour taste in my mouth. We did not pay the extra. Is any of this Booking.com's fault?? I have never come across it before. The venue is excellent value for money so I think they should be encouraged to put their prices up and get rid of the shenanigans of hidden charges. People don't like them...do they!!

Generously spacious, clean, stylish, attractive. apartment. Excellent meals on site and good equipment for the meals we cooked ourselves. The swimming pool is small but clean and useful. The grounds are lovely ...but...

I didn’t know that it was necessary to arrive by 7:30 pm to eat the dinner that I reserved. So we only were able to have part of the meal, because we arrived at 8:15 pm. Also, to access the bathroom, it’s necessary to climb up a steep stairway that is basically a ladder. If you have limited mobility, it would be good to request a room with a bathroom on the same floor.

Beautiful country setting. Clean and comfortable.
